Wooden toilet seat is a no from me. It might look ok at first but after you've washed it a few times it does tend to stain badly.

Yes I can't stand them, especially in a B&B, you need plastic that can be bleached and scrubbed, wood never looks clean after it has bleach splashes.

The thing is I don't like polyester bedding, polyester cotton mix is fine but 100% polyester is awful. I don't think that's being snobby is it?

It doesn't make sense with the very basic rooms. I would prefer better quality bedding and no obvious bribery.

No. I hate it as well. It gets really hot and I get friction shocks.

He was making it sound like it was cheap just because it was all polyester, for the price what does he expect? low standard, its just a duvet cover.

All the bedding looks fine to me, I think he is having us on about it, it all looks poly cotton or cotton, I suppose he expects the finest Egyptian cotton.

I stayed at a place that the bed spread was so covered in bobbles that it literally pricked my skin every night I sat on top of the bed. It was awful. Even a heavy duty Remington fuzz away wouldn't have helped!
