They did all seem very picky at Pebbles for some reason. The breakfast wasn't to their tastes, but then again none of them made any special requests. Mind you the telly positioning was bizzare and should be obviously wrong to anyone who thinks about how the room would be used.
The comments about not having their own space were odd too - when was the last time any fiab place was mentioned as having a guest lounge or suchlike?

I suppose it could've been edited out of context, but I found Joe's "clang" name dropping comment very snide, given Peter was only answering a direct question from Louise.
They were all unnecessarily picky about Pete's place. They all found it spotlessly clean and most enjoyed their breakfast. Game playing going on, I think.

Tit for tat from Pete today.

I do think £150 seems a lot for these rooms though. They looked a bit old fashioned to me and I couldn't see what made them five star.

I have to agree about £150 being a high price. There are many excellent hotels in prime locations that are available at less than that. So I wondered if this was the FIAB thing of having to quote the top price. But no! I searched on several dates, and one of the rooms shown in todays programme always shows £150!

Whilst I agree about the toast, as it is always a bug bear of mine, this is prevalent nowadays. Just about every hotel I have been to, even 5 star, have a toaster for the customer to make their own. Wrong maybe, but very commonplace.

Watching on plus 1, why on earth do they keep shoeing the bits where they say Petes B&B is someones house? it is not, it is a typical B&B not a converted home.

Were they told to say it perhaps?

£150 seems a lot, looks like a nice place but that is rather pricey.

Yet another boring activity to make them hate each other even more.......

nice on site restaurant.

Pete being a bit betchy about the area, which is stunning!

So Pete wants a full breakfast that isnt a full breakfast, lol

Make your own toast!!??

Brekkie looked very nice.

Why is Pete being so awkward?
I think it's coz he's feeling hurt by the comments left at his place

For sure. I rather like him but he went too low with his scoring. You can make a point by not appearing vindictive. That said I would be very happy to stay at his B&B.

Hilary is so fake and stuck up.
I agree. I don't really like those two or the two from the mill.

What's with the trolls this week? How do they manage not to scare away the guests? I know that you are not supposed to judge by appearances, but if those two greeted me at a hotel, I would expect cockroaches having a rave in my bed at night.
Yes but they're wacky and mad and are therefore instantly lovable. In reality they are annoying in that they expect everyone to love them just because they wear mad clothes and brightly coloured wigs. I find their criticisms hard to take when their place is looks like sh!t hole from the outside and seems to be in a slum area. The breakfast and service were a bit iffy too. The rooms seemed ok though.

Why is Pete being so awkward?
I'm disappointed in him. But then he didn't deserve the feedback he got.

He does have a point about the toast!
I agree. Toast should be made to order with the breakfast.

A full breakfast without a couple of items and poached eggs. That woman who took his order had a right arsey face on her. It wasn't a picky order in the least. At the Mill, they were exasperated with Peter for asking what the breakfast was. He's clearly beneath them. He was right about their skills as hosts, right about the towels and right about their their place. It is not unique. I wouldn't want to stay there, where people go and take their guns to shoot animals/birds etc.

For sure. I rather like him but he went too low with his scoring. You can make a point by not appearing vindictive. That said I would be very happy to stay at his B&B.
I like him. I like Monday's peeps too. Not keen on the 'Aren't we great because we're wacky,' folk or the two posh birds.

I initially liked the two from Islington Mill, as they were wacky and seemed comfortable in their own skin. But as the week has gone on, I got more and more fed up with them, and they are wearing on me big time now.

I actually don't mind making my own toast, that way I get it when I'm ready for it rather than having it served with breakfast only to be cold by the time I want to eat it (after the breakfast).

Agreed, but at £150 a night you should be able to ask for fresh hot toast to be served when you want it.

The first place, in Lincolnshire, is the first I know of to get top scores from every guest, and they all wanted to return. Such a lovely couple, too. I hope they win.

I totally agree. Easily the most tolerant and accommodating people in this week's show. The others would do well to look and learn.

I only caught up on yesterdays earlier today. Gawd he really threw his toys out of the pram over the comments he received the previous day didnt he? I hope has the good grace to apologise for some of his really unfair scores.

I agree that Mondays couple should win.

Just caught up on yesterdays episode - a beautiful setting but overpriced in my view, and some very picky and petty comments made by a certain guest. It's going to be interesting viewing today.

Does he really think a no smoking sign would stop someone smoking if they really wanted to.
