The fussy comments are just silly. Don't people watch this show before appearing?

The way it came across to me was, Sue saw the road before she stepped into the place and thought she will be able to use it as a reason to low score, however when she came back after the meal she realised the road was quiet, and then saw the mattress, and used towels to sleep on as another reason to low score, otherwise why didnt she see the "dirty mattress" during the room inspection

Her husband Gordon thinks he's a terrific wag - presumably because she's told him he is. He's obsessed with picking away at the two women. I'm not their biggest fan, but on this I'm definitely on their side. Very unpleasant.

As per usual I am blaming the Production Team, the poor comments get sillier & sillier - they are way past scraping the barrel. It was a good format originally, but activities have nothing whatsoever to do with the way they run their B&B.
Did anyone actually see any of those stains on the sheet? I couldn'tsee anything. It's not very nice to see stains, but if the rest of the place is nice & clean one can only assume that the washing powder was at fault!
Mind you, I did go 'oh no' when I saw the poached eggs being tipped out of a poaching pan!

It's becoming increasingly obvious that the production company have taken control of the activity to try and set the contestants against each other.

We seem to be seeing more and more businesses that have only been in existence for less than a year. I appreciate we're a few series in now but I wonder if longer established B&B's are avoiding it like the plague given how much of a minefield the editing is whilst the less aware newbees naively only think of how great their place is and free advertising.

Why couldn't that moaning Minnie just go and ask for another sheet (and how come she didn't spot it in the room inspection) - and as for bringing her own cup along - who the hell does she think she is?

They were always going to be witches. All they need now is for the blonde woman to join them and then they can all get ready for their big night on Saturday. 😈 👿 👹

Seeing her playing that organ reminded me of Raw Sex from French and Saunders. They were meant to be naff and that was years ago!

I used to really enjoy this programme but I've not bothered with it for the last few weeks as it's just become too repetitively boring and predictable for my liking. Have I missed much?

They have not really shown it at its best. Why did they let them film them in a back lane ffs, they are supposed to be showing off their B&B and surrounding area.

It is a seaside town with a lovely park, fun fair and miles of fabulous beaches. Oh and more Indian restaurants than you can shake a stick at.

I did, the sheets were a funny colour lilac/grey I think and just a few darker patches.

The women was making a huge fuss over NOTHING. I have had this happen to my red sheets. We bought this new powder 2 in 1, and my cleaner put too many things in the washing machine, so when the stuff was washed it didnt quite rinse properly.

We never noticed until the dry fitted went on the bed, but it was clean just the washing powder or whatever it was hadnt rinsed right.

I was screaming at my telly I cant believe how STUPID she was. The bedding wasnt dirty it would have smelt fresh. She simply had to go down and sort it out, but oh no, she had to have a drama.

More is the point did we actually see her sleeping on towels? Wouldnt they have been damp then i mean before i go out for dinner i always have a shower.

Blooming stupid. Sick of it now, its becoming a farce.

I dont mind poached eggs cooked that way, they are poached thats it lol.

For the money for the room I thought it was all exceptional i would stay there.

I SO AGREE WITH YOU about the production team, this is all set up.

Your right HD, she was not in a sleigh bed, they are HUGE, my daughter was given one and its massive. There is wood entirely around the base, but hardly anything to get knickers in a twist over lol.... you couldnt make it up could you. BUT it didnt look like my daughters sleigh bed. Going to have another look on 4 catch up lol.

I agree SS. Last night showed some of the worse game playing ever on this programme. That bedroom was SPOTLESS, the place was clean there was nothing to complain about. Its on a main road, so there was roadworks which stop about 4pm.

The thing about the sheets on the bed was more diabolical then the dirty mattress at rays, because the sheet was not DIRTY, it was stained with either the washing powder/conditioner. Thats why you should only ever use WHITE sheets it wouldnt have shown up.

There was nothing to complain about BUT they so wanted to drag it down as they realised this place was competition. Not staying was disgusting. It was a lovely clean B&B, South Shields has loads to offer. But to say they wouldnt stay again well, it puts it on a par with Rays place which is ludicrous to the extreme.

Going off 4iab to be honest. I feel sorry for all the hosts who work hard and get these kind of comments.

EXACTLY its called CONTROLLING. They have to control everything to the extreme. They cant let someone else do it as it will be wrong. I have met a few in my life.

They run a hospitality school. Why dont they give their candidates some work experience its beyond me.

Not only that, they could simply afford to get a housekeeper or chamber maid as I am sure in SS the wages are lower then say in London. At least someone to strip all the rooms for her.

There is no excuse NOT to have a break. My friend is a bit like that and she is exhausted now. Mind you like she says, everytime she does take a break she comes back to chaos lol.

BUT family are important especially mum. I am sure she could work around it. In the main the rooms are done in the morning after the guests have handed in their keys. So really she should have a few hours from 3pm to spend with family.

The Cafe well its easy enough to get waitresses.

Thankyou Sheddy! As many on here know, I am from Norfolk. I have a "proper" Norfolk accent. It's all to do with the vowels you know.

I couldn't see any stains. I thought my TV settings might be suspect, as I couldn't see a thing! What colour were the stains? I have got bed linen out of my washing machine that has then dried with stains. The stains have always been either detergent or conditioner - NOT dirt.

As to the poached eggs. Grrrrrrrrrr. I have said before on here how much I hate those poachers, and other people have agreed 100%. So we are far from alone.

Yes, she's that for sure. All the other others beds seemed to have clean linen, including the other bed in her own room .. Well done to the host for not seeming to get upset about her bringing her own tea-cup, good on her, she actually complimented her china. She was probably seething inside but knew how to play this one.
