"Game on"... Idiots. Lucys like a very lowbrow Patsy! (Ab Fab)”

Eh? We've often had a friend along for the ride - two weeks ago the friend had to stand in when the actual contestant broke her foot!
It was quite right too that Lucy didn't get involved as she doesn't work for the hotel. Having said that I do wonder what service is like when all the rooms are occupied!

Dire I should think...she could barely cope with 5......and the brekkie didn't look anything to crow about......

Tatler!.....rolleyes......the woman probably had 'friends' on the editing team!

French château style.....not....rolleyes again!

Design note: if you think shabby French château chic is your style, first step is to actually visit one. Or at least buy a book...

Looked a nice location, though.

e2a: their website's been neglected - not much in the way of updates for 12 months ... scroll down to Here's what we've been up to recently... If you are expecting (hoping for) lots of enquiries from a tv show, a dormant website isn't encouraging. Perhaps they're hoping to sell and 4iaB is part of their marketing.

Yeah, totally. There is a real knack to getting the shabby chic look right. People think it's just throwing a load of mismatched furniture and soft furnishings together, but you really have to have an eye for it.

Do you know, I thought the exact opposite, i.e. that there was some mischievous editing when they zoomed in on her during dinner and showed her picking her teeth with the nail of her little finger, after having just name-dropped Tatler and Vogue.

It isn't a good look, and I would have thought that there would have been plenty of alternative footage available to the editors.

Or is it just me

Friends of the Tatler and Vogue editing team, maybe?

She probably paid for an ad in the backpages and they agreed to do a small feature of her B&B.

I see from Ethel's and anyoneFT's post which editing team Hooter probably meant. Thanks for the clarification.

Certainly her appearance on 4IAB has not done this woman many favours so far, including that truly off-putting dinner table behaviour - as I said, not a good look. Will she be digging her snobbish self into an increasingly deeper hole as the week progresses? We'll see.

Nope, it's not just you. The juxtaposition of the Tatler, Vogue and teeth-picking moment was, I thought, definitely a bit of spiteful editing on the part of the production team.

These people expect 5 star quality everywhere they go these days. Even for £60.

I know we've had other people "on for the ride" before but to me she comes across as just using this as a stepping stone for more tv shows. I just found it awkward with her sitting at her own special table in the kitchen just getting in the way as I said Patsy from Ab Fab.

She has two chances of a TV career after this, slim and none ..
