She's just still miffed that he wouldn't return to her place and like he suggested, annoyed that she fell for it!!

Definitely was done in jest and not spite- some people just don't have a sense of humour!!

Me!! I much prefer streaky to back bacon, so would always choose to have it if I was having a fry up....

Is that at your B & B? I would not expect to be served streaky bacon at a B & B and I never have been.

Yes - I don't know why there isn't usually a choice: back bacon is mostly lean, and has to be cooked so that it doesn't go dried-up and chewy, whereas streaky can be cooked until it's crispy.

For that matter, a choice of smoked or unsmoked would be nice.

And, as for eggs, well...

I like Stephen. I hope he wins. Charlotte is only succeeding in making herself look desperate to win.

I think he will win but we will see who is desperate to win tomorrow. He is so desperate to win he lied about being a chef, oh and he picked clay pigeon shooting because he had obviously done it many times before

Most pheasants you see in the countryside are bred and then released for shooting. The pheasant is not a native bird. I've never shot, nor do I ever intend to, but I do eat pheasant and it doesn't kill itself...

I think she'd create over any underpayment at all, but I think everyone on this thread thinks she's way overcharging for what she offers?

How would lying about being a chef help him win? He came clean about it. It was just a wind-up, and people made a stupid fuss about it.

But why do it in the first place, are you supposed to wind-up your paying guests? I'd like to bet that if Charlotte had done something similar she would have been trashed again on here.

Not your paying guests, but yes to your fellow contestants on FIAB

They aren't normal paying guests though. He was playing up to the cameras. But you're right about Charlotte. She would have been utterly trashed by some here - mainly because she is, apparently, too 'posh'.

I hope Stephen's place wins, was very nice for a pub B&B, as for him being a chef and not telling so what, the others sussed it, because she didn't she's made a fuss, to cover her embarassment,

Or maybe they don't judge them because they think they are posh?

They must have lowered their prices though, looking at their website there is nothing over £100, most are £70/80, the odd one £100.

It's nothing to do with being "too posh". There have been plenty of B&B owners in the past people would consider "posh" like Dom and Steph and others but they are likeable people. They don't look down their noses at other people like she does. She is just a stuck up pretentious snob like that girl Hilary last week who think they are above everyone else and have an air of superiority look on their faces. It's her attitude that's the problem not her class.

I don't mind posh folk. Charlotte is too up herself and belongs to the posh types who say 'They don't understand it,' if anyone criticises them. Just like the posh folk who go hunting and say to their critics 'They're townies. They don't understand country life.'

Stephen saw through her. His room was full of cheap pine furniture from the 80s. There was nothing designer, shabby chic or eclectic about it. So there's nothing to understand at all. It was cheap tat.

Yep. She is pretentious. Has her B&B been in some posh mags? So what? That No1 Sallyport was heralded as the best B&B in the country by The Guardian newspaper.

People like her think others are beneath them just because she's put some tatty furniture together which they call "statement pieces" and then think people just don't "get it" when they criticise her. Like they are too stupid to understand her concept. It's all a load of pretentious twaddle. You haven't reinvented the wheel love and you're not the next Anouska Hempel. Get a ladder and get over yourself.
