The same as the other one moaning about no mushrooms but didn't just ask for some.

The tray was not badly damaged, it just had a little chip on it.

Because, on balance, she'd rather be able to put a lower score on the feedback form than if it was rectified.

Pettiest grouping ever, feel sorry for the two couples that had half decent places.

Can't remember all the names but I sense the couple from seashells are so eager to win that they can't get over been marked down. I also don't think she would forget to put the Mushrooms on I do sense the producers have a hand in creating added drama. I hope the Whitchurch one wins as clearly the other two can't seem to take criticism and the first one well lets not go there but I don't think it was as bad as the guest made out a 3 for cleaniness was harsh I appreciate outside was messy but the room overall was clean.

Is there a "warts and all" account of the whole process somewhere online from someone who has taken part ?

I don't mean a press release but a verbatim account of someones time on the show.

I want to know what you don't see

Do you mean the last 2 couples? I think the only couple I like are the step father and daughter...

In fact, it was one of the better weeks! Along with Tim the nudist, there were also the posh father and son, the young burping couple and Mr and Mrs Jolly.

Just watching now. Gawd that chubby woman is a nightmare. Criticising Hangar for not asking for mushrooms yet saying nothing about not liking pepper on hers, preferring to moan about it once the server had gone.

They weren't sharing - she was cuddled up with the duck last night

For some reason on 4iab they do like to pretend all the contestants share rooms, when often they don't.

I quite like the father and stepdaughter and the 2 Welsh ladies. I really do not like the Seashells couple, they are definitely playing a nasty game and as for the first couple, words fail me over the egg, they deliberately sent it back like that because she complained.

Yes, in the smaller b&bs if a couple aren't sharing it's common for the other partner to sleep in a nearby hotel.

Yes, a few - but I don't recollect anyone saying anything truly bad about their experience. One or two owners did on their FB pages (some of which had to be taken down for a while till the abuse from viewers stopped) but I expect those comments - and / or owners - are long gone. The only one I distinctly remember is this one from 2013, a b&b / hotel from Melksham.

Intelligent, sensible guy with some interesting and well written insights. Scroll down to get the earliest commentaries then work your way up.

I think this commentary was particularly interesting because it gave the schedule of visits and indicated that when visiting an area, the owners arrive in a non-4iaB property the night before and each couple is booked into a different hotel so they have no opportunity to meet without being overseen by the production team.
