Yes it's a shame but So's massive over-payment put paid to anyone but the Redstone winning

Or was there a little (cough) favouritism?

Yes but he did screw money out of them, how sad were they to pay more than £100?

If he hadn't over-paid, they would still have got 100% and won anyway. They played totally fairly and deserved to win.

I don't disagree, it's just that as soon as the big overpayment was on the table it was game over, that's all I'm saying.

At least the winner was a nice person and wasn't nasty like a lot of the previous winners.

Bit of a damp squib tonight's episode bit handbags at dawn. Here are my views though:

Thought So and assistant would pay a lot less than £22. Looking at the trailer it only appeared to be in coins.

Another side to Chris and his underpayment for the weak coffee, I think all the shenanigans rubbed off on him but he's still a very nice man.

Have the prices So and co charged been verified? ( I almost expected them to say it was a joke to see how much money they could con out of folk). Never in a million years was their place worth over £300.

It seems So has at least one new fan in Suzette, sorry forgot her name, although he did come out of the show looking a total overacting pillock.

Vicky still had a face like it had been hit by a wet cod ( other fish available) but at least she did speak up for her establishment.

However the big surprise was the underpayment for the sink by Kris and Vicky which I thought was totally ridiculous. It even made Chris talk of changing it when he should keep it as it is.

So is So's real full name So Shaw or So Sure. If so then the latter option is very apt!

I suspect he was chancing his arm with his charging also and wasn't even the owner of the hotel.

Yes but it was a pointless gesture as we know all the owners have the full rate made up by the TV company. Just showed what a nasty petty little man he was and that he wanted to go out with a flourish even though it made him look a total idiot.

Just my opinion of course.

Yes she did. She decided she didn't like So from the beginning. I just didn't get the sexism thing. The only thing that I heard was he took a female guest to a strip club because she asked him. Was there anything else?

If there were any gameplayers this week and in it to win it; it was Vicky and her boss and for that I'm glad they came last. That bloke Kris? refused the payment because he knew he hadn't won and refusing a payment gave him something to excuse it.

Sorry I'm not slagging off So. What's wrong with over-paying? It's been done many times before and Ursula's place was lovely. However, So did over-react at times but Vicky and Kris contributed had a lot to do with it. If they hadn't been in the prog with all their negativity towards So, the prog would have been very different. So was OTT but it was Kris and mostly Vicky who were the dislikable, corporate couple who had it planned right down to their dance and were looking for the win.

I've not seen any episodes this week but... as the hotel in question is (if I've understood what people have been saying here) in central London, then the most expensive tarif on their website may be Christmas and New Year.

Lost in the mists of time, I seem to remember that properties on 4iaB must charge the highest price that appears on their website - and we've seen what seems to be odd pricing strategies before. If that's the case, I know accommodation over New Year in central London can command silly prices and perhaps that is what they've been required to use.

I totally agree with you. I kept looking for hints of sexism but never saw them. So was telling Kris how he went out of his way to make customers feel welcome and it was the foreign lady who wanted to see the strip club, it wasn't forced on her by So.

I did think Kris and Vicky were the most competitive couple but then I would assume everybody that goes on FIAB wants to win (I felt sure Ursula and Daria would overpay Chris and Kristelle but they didn't). However I agree that from the start it appeared that Vicky took a dislike to So and I think I can say he is an extreme character and you either love him or hate him.

I think So has has a good pasting from folk on here. I wasn't a fan of his but I have to agree that there was a major personality clash between him and Kris and Vicky and without it the show would have been very dull.

God Bless you

Yes you're right the hotel in question is in central London. If I remember correctly So did say it was a few minutes walk from one of the big parks.

I didn't know that about the tariffs I just assumed they would charge what the rate was for the time the competing couples came to stay. Very interesting.

But he said other things like "stroke the pool cue like a lady" and made physical gestures which some people could construe as being sexist.

I didn't know the TV company made up the full rate. I'm always the last to know anything!
