Audrey has a tattoo! How many workhouses has Audrey been to? I imagine those guys would have been grateful for a chimney breast.”

LOL, I am 4 years younger then Audrey. She would hardly have been in a workhouse silly women. I was liking her, but last night she really got on my boobies.

YES I AGREE. She is far worse then MIKE from the Castle in Bath. At least with him he was openly rude lol, she is a silent assassin. I cant believe her comments....

She said a PHYSIC told her, her competition would have the word CASTLE in it.

She is so game playing its unbelievable. That place was gorgeous. The meal in the evening OMG it was huge. There was NOTHING to complain about.

Yes last weeks which were the game players sadly one too.

I loved last nights place. For me it was the best, but again I wouldnt pay 100.00 a night to sleep over a pub, thats just my preference.

The banging. We heard 2 loud bangs.....it was early.... we only had her word for it, there were more. IF IT WAS so annoying wouldnt you ask to be moved?

The bathroom. Give me a break there were BLINDS on the window. Anyway who would want to clock her in the nude lol.

The theme... so tartan versus sickly sweet teddy bears and she called the dressing telling shabby chic. I didnt thing the table was old and showing signs of wear.....but her place was full of shabby chic.....

Audrey. Well naughty Audrey moaning about the chimney breast lol...... she never worked in work house, so why it reminded her of that I have no clue, unless she is telling porkies about her age. I thought her room was lovely.

The pillows. Give me a break. She offers FEATHER FILLED PILLOWS which are SOFT. No come on Audrey you let yourself down there, I was almost liking you until you said that.

The soup spoon. LOL, who cares, its a spoon for drinking liquid or soup with bits in it. Doesnt cereal have liquid and bits in it LOL. Nothing to complain about there, just nick picking. BUT TO BE FAIR from what i have read, I expect the comment was taken out of context AGAIN by the production team. We all make little mistakes. I expect the table had been set for the evening meals and the spoon not changed, hardly a hanging offence.

Well as to the STEPFORD grannies not staying again, they have said NO to 3 of the best B&Bs we have seen on 4IAB. The second night for 60.00 it was lovely and should win, but it wont as the gameplayers I BET YOU paid only 30.00 for the night.

Last nights then should win as for me it was PERFECT, the breakfast was lovely. OK not sure about the price but then it depends on the area, but it was well presented and run, and I liked the couple.

So I expect the tampons will win tonight, there is no JUSTICE in this world.

I liked Lily's Pad the best but the only people I can stand are the couple from South Shields
so I'm rather hoping that at £60 a night people won't have had the nerve to deduct too much and they will win.

I hope you are right that the South Shields couple win. Either them or the final couple. As long as it isn't the witches or Audrey.

But I have a horrible feeling it is the South Shields couple that the witches have only paid £30 to. Which is only 50% of their asking price, and would surely put them out of the running. If I am right, I will be gutted.

A certain female in this house is 64 today. So 4 years younger than Audrey. I can honestly say that Audrey looks more like her mother than a close contemporary. And our 64 year old is certainly not mutton dressed as lamb!

Oh dear Sue .. the words 'media savvy' are obviously a total oxymoron for you ..

Personally I have always believed there is such a thing as natural justice, for no reason whatsoever you've moaned and groaned your way through the week and refused to return to three perfectly acceptable B&Bs. I was going to say at what price to your reputation, but as I have said I believe in natural justice and as far as I am concerned you have no reputation to protect.

Totally correct. But do you think she will grasp the meaning of the words "media savvy" and "oxymoron"?

How many times has it been said on this thread that some of the B&B proprietors do not seem to realise what a fantastic opportunity FIAB is to showcase their businesses and themselves. They couldn't afford to buy such advertising. Remember Butterfly Dave who had a really niche business? He came last, as he expected to, but gained so much business he couldn't keep up with the enquiries. But yet again, this week we have one who seems to have a death wish for their establishment.

Yes - Sue is showing herself as petty and small minded in her comments (and we can guess her payments) to the other B&B owners.

ALL of the establishments this week were lovely, and offered great value for money - especially the Clifton, yet Sue found fault in every single one, and as the Carluccis noted on day two - we have two glowing feedback forms and one bad one - Hmmmmm! Her main complaints ( the bedding) would have been happily sorted out by the owners had she actually mentioned it - but no, that would mean she didn't have a valid complaint!

There was absolutely NO reason to say she wouldn't stay at any of the other places again other than sheer spite. I have a sneaking suspicion that she will win today, just because she has systematically underpaid all of the others who will probably have played fair.

Surely winning the plaque in these circumstances is totally meaningless - all it means in a lot of cases is that you underpaid the competition to ensure you won.

Great post. If they do win its a HOLLOW victory, and I will throw something at my telly.

I have never seen such OBVIOUS game playing by someone on this programme.

I think she has done a lot of damage to her business personally.

Might be!

Seriously, I have always thought I look my age. Not younger, but not older either. I never make a pretence of how old I am. But God forbid I look anywhere near as old as Audrey! Fortunately I have it on very good (and honest) authority that I don't.

How I have hated the sickly sweet breathy way Louise has of saying 'Sweetheart' to Sue. My goodness, what a good job those two have done of ensuring that no-one who sees the programme will ever go to their B &B.

Happy Birthday, Tommo!

Butterfly Dave came across as lovely, and memorable for that reason, whilst the nitpickers and deliberate underpayers are remembered for their nastiness. A dreadfully short-sighted policy to take on the programme where the plaque is worthless but the business opportunity is valuable.

Happy b'day Tommo. I thought Tommo was a mans name so thought you were referring to someone else in your household. 🎂🎉🎁

Indeed - a free half hour advert on C4 - that would cost thousands
Just shows how easy it is to forget yourself over a period of time. I'm hoping this weeks numpties are watching in horror through their fingers at their behaviour.

It is a good age! I am now entitled to an opinion because I am old enough to have one, but not so old I am thought of as an old bat. Life is good.

Thank you very much for your birthday wishes.

Of all the people who have been on, Butterfly Dave struck me as the most honest, up front and genuine. He knew his accommodation was lacking, but it was only a bed for the night so that people could stay there while paragliding etc. He got it totally right, and did his business no end of good!

A deliberate ploy on most threads! Our surname is Thompson, and himself is known amongst his male friends as Tommo. So I adopted it on forums, and most people think I am of the opposite gender. I love that! Again thanks for your birthday wishes.

Sue seems to have removed her profile. That is definitely a treat.

By the way, The Castle website specifies feather pillows and duvets...just saying like.

If anyone had an issue and they didn't choose to air the resolution, that's a poor do to my mind
