Why is the blonde woman (Sue?) taking charge when the other woman owns the place?

I read her page, we know editing can sometimes be done to stitch people up, but you can only be stitched up if you say and do the things you do, if she hadnt of acted miserable and been harsh on the scores then the editing wouldnt have been so bad,
as for doing things production said, then its her own fault, stick to your guns and play fair and you will receive good feedback from the viewers Quote:
I agree backtracking and rubbish,no one could force you to go out and buy some different cups and pretend that you usually use them, she is full of hot air.
It's not true that there hasn't been a single week when people didn't get on and were set up. We've remarked on here when it's been more pleasant. There were only three payments in full this week. The Castle paid in full at The Clifton and that was reciprocated. Sharon and Gordon (The Castle) paid Lily's Pad in full, but I bet they wish they hadn't ![]() Audrey underpaid everyone by £10. Sue and Louise made the biggest underpayments of £60 paid £30 £85 paid £60 £100 paid £80. I did like Liz and Scott but was they made a couple of significant underpayments too £80 - £65 £85 - £60 and then on the money £100 |

Wonder what her friend makes of Lily Pads shenanigans. this week.
They themselves seem to be making it all the fault of the production, no doubt becasue of the viewers reaction to their behaviour. https://www.facebook.com/permalink.p...40528736062879 They must be witches to made them believe their lies.

Bum, bum, bum!!! Lilly's pad came joint first. But hands up. How many of you would go and stay there after them showing how mean, bitchy and witchy they are on this programme.
...............................pause while I look round the internet for hands aloft....................................... None. That says it all. |

She didn't take an anti histamine. If she did she wouldn't have reacted to the feathers.
She says she's allergic, she said she took antihistamine, but she also said she'd never slept on feather or down before and so how would she know she's allergic and why would she take a pill? And then it wasn't an issue at The Castle ![]() I suppose we could be very generous and imagine that Sharon and Gordon had substituted their feather bedding with synthetic in anticipation of the visit? Shame they didn't also install frosted film and shutters at the windows and someone to hand out paper towels and and open and close the door of the Gents too ![]() I did notice the negative comments as soon as they arrived though 'I hope those roadworks aren't going to be going all day' in South Shields, when you knew they weren't going to be in their rooms or even the hotel all day anyway and they wouldn't be drilling in the dark and also about the banging door - I doubt they'd be trying to sleep before 11pm anyway. If they'd phrased their criticism in a different way and just flagged up the issue, it wouldn't have caused such ill will. But I should think anyone could work that out for themself. If they wanted to that is. |

"I left them at the other bnb's for when I go again" Huh? She said she wouldn't stay at ANY of them again! What backtracking. She said she wouldn't go again (apparently to stay in the same rooms, which is fair enough really) but after the comments and the underpayments, I'm not sure they'd want her back again. She's effectively accusing the production crew of insisting she slept with pillows and a quilt which she knew (hmm) would bring on an allergic reaction. That's really upping the bar of production causing problems if so. The marked bedlinen issue is really weird too as Liz and Scott teach hospitality courses, so I really can't think they'd make such a glaring error - and then they go and say that it was new bedlinen anyway. It really is all beyond odd. |

Oh for goodness sake!
You've been called out ladies and haven't done yourselves any favours this week. If you don't make negative comments and behave like immature idiots , they can't give you a negative edit - always best to be positive and / or boring rather than allow the producers to make you do things you wouldn't normally do. Being negative and saying you wouldn't stay again when there was nothing whatsoever wrong with the other properties was just stupid - and you've done your own business a lot of harm with the undeserved comments and under payments.... There's no virtue in winning by cheating! |

They had a mattress issue but the way Anthony conducted himself it really didn't become a massive drama. |

I usually type on a laptop and can only use the DS smilies, although someone did post a link a week or so ago to 'get emoji dot com'
On the ipad though you can insert images directly. I sent you a birthday cocktail, not sure if you could see it though? Did you see the week with Fallowfields Hotel near Oxford? Anthony was the gentleman, very charming. His wife Peta got the measure of things and refused to say anything on camera after a short while of filming. They had a mattress issue but the way Anthony conducted himself it really didn't become a massive drama. Yes I did get the cocktail. Thenk yew verry much. It was loverley......... may beee a lickle lesssssss gin next timee. I remember Fallowfields well. There were people who knew how to handle the programme and the production team magnificently. |

Oh yes - I remember Anthony and PETA very well, (and also him coming n here afterwards with his side of the story as well....) That was the awful Aphrodites Lodge week ......
The Castle were the only winner as far as I'm concerned - loved the way Sharon and Gordon called the witches out on their behaviour..... |

Audrey's pretty stingy herself but I loved that she stuck up for the couple over the £30 underpayment.
I think I would stay at her place, especially as one of the beds looked massive, though the style is not to my taste. She comes across as interesting and game (remember the hoverthingy). |

Am I alone in finding Audrey's behaviour slightly eccentric rather than downright unkind? Like Molly, I liked her comments about the outrageous £30. Also, as Solar pointed out, she deducted a flat rate of £10 all round. It may be viewed as a kind of 'fairness', if you know what I mean.

I very occasionally exchange a pleasantry with Anthony on Twitter. I don't know him, but he's always charming. It certainly looks as though their business is going from strength to strength. Quote:

Sorry it was my day off
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Are you Gordon? ![]() I loved his come back to Audrey's 'I waited and waited...' when he just said 'I did come Audrey but you were asleep' ![]() Come to think of it, tonight provided me with my favourite moment of the series I think. Louise's tearful comment about the gameplaying accusation being 'hurtful' and then the hair toss was rather comedy gold ![]() Have another look. I loved it and have been tossing my hair ever since. If anyone displeases me they'd better stand well clear, I'm getting quite good now ![]() I think on the whole Audrey was pretty straight and I do think if you stayed at her B&B she'd try and really look after you. Maybe she purchased down pillows for her B&B thinking they're the ultimate in comfort but doesn't actually care for a soft pillow herself? |
