It was going to die eventually. Its a fish.
it might only be a "fish" , but the point is that for this program there was no need for it to be killed, the fishing bit was only filler, they could have caught the fish and put it back |

They were at a fish farm. The fish are bred to be caught. If the contestants didn't catch someone else would have.

The could of used one of the fish to 'batter' one of the Come Dine contestants into shuting up

I thought Beck Hall looked a lovely place and I liked their taste in colours and furnishings.
I can understand why Helen and Emma wouldn't go back though, they were totally out of their comfort zone and every shot of them they had faces like slapped behinds. |

Why bother with makeup, if you will end up looking like something out of a horror movie?
Small room? Have they seen theirs? Quote:
I'd rather other people''s dogs to other people's kids....
Amen to that!!!! Quote:
Helen just doesnt understand the concept, she's not the sharpest tool in the box, she is becoming a pain in the arse tbh , her and the person she is with aren't doing themselves any favours imo

I think Helen and her friend are as thick as each other

I really dislike them. Their comments when they were driving through that beautiful countryside "It's empty" "There's nothing to do" really wound me up too.

But where's the fun in that? What is the point in catching something only to put it back?

I have it on now. Do they breed these annoying creatures at some secret lab? They can't be real people, surely?

Exactly! Theirdouble rooms were tiny.
Amen to that!!!! I think they are both as common as muck. And being common has nothing to do with class or money. They are dreadful IMHO. The most enjoyable fiab episodes (for me) have been the ones where they had owners with REAL class (who treated each other well such as the one with Dom and Steph). I wonder if watching themselves and their sour fat faces will make them realise how very unattractive they are in every sense. |

Julie and Kevin, from The Albaston in Torquay have fab reviews on TA, both for their place and for their hosting skills. Link to TA pages Cue more petty complaints I suppose. |

I really do not like Helen, Emma and Terri.
Absolutely ridiculous comments from all three. Helen: I doubt any of them would return to Skegness through choice, I cannot say I would blame them either. |

I've just watched tonight's one & even though we don't have a dog, I would stay there, it looked lovely.
Helen & Emma are awful, one of them commented there being 2 shower heads & asked why? We have 3 showers in our house & 2 of them have 2 shower heads, why? Because it makes it so much easier to clean, thick cow. Can't believe the host said they will look to change the chandeliers, they're beautiful & in keeping with their, place, not every guest is 6'5" tall. They did take the criticisms well though & to be fair, the points deducted were minor when you compare last weeks comments & the number of points deducted. Envy is a sad thing & it's obvious Helen & Emma are both envious, I think they will underpay, even though it's good value for money, although I would probably underpay slightly if most of my breakfast was cold (if indeed it was cold). |

Helen and Emma (besides being shallow and not particularly nice) should not have gone there with the breakfast comments, considering their breakfast drinks come out of a machine and every breakfast item was merely heated up, not prepared from scratch.

Our showers have the big head for the drench shower and a smaller adjustable head on the riser. People who are taller and who wash their hair daily tend to like the big head, but I'm short and don't wash my hair every day, so I would choose the adjustable one some days and I also use that to remove and wash down the tiles etc.
I do like the big rain drench when I'm washing my hair though - it's a choice, an extra amenity. To make a negative critique when someone's providing you with an extra facility is definite game playing and inverted snobbery. If I was over 6' I imagine I'd be fairly adept at watching my step and would've slept on the other side of the bed (to avoid the chandelier if I got up in the dark) but it didn't seem to be too much of an issue on the scoresheet really. The height of wall mirrors would probably be the most inconvenient issue. It sometimes is for me, when even on tip toe I can't see properly. As for the cold breakfast, it possibly was, but that would likely be because of the way filming panned out? and Helen didn't do herself any favours criticising breakfast after questioning the fresh or tinned tomato aspect, only to decline either. |

Helen has shown herself to be as thick and prejudiced as I feared she was going to be yesterday.
She's the sort of person who wouldnt appreciate a beautiful country house hotel in a scenic part of the country no matter WHO was running it! She took a dislike to the MacBeths when she found out their background and dislikes them even more because they are "posh" to her and she just resents them for everything she thinks they stand for! She runs a plastic pub serving plastic food in a naff seaside resort - even her dinner choice looked foul with revolting looking pizzas. Whilst her rooms looked OK, the whole establishment is not somewhere I'd choose to stay. Give me the Beck Hall any day! |

What is it about Lincolnshire rearing these whingeing women - a pair of them last week and now another pair this?

In all honesty I thought fishing as the past time was a very strange thing to do, what if there had been a vegetarian or vegan among the guests? By this stage in the competition the producers (who actually line up the activity) would've known if there were any veggies in the group. |

I think it says it all about the pair from Lincolnshire when one of them went to breakfast with her sunglasses on head.
I don't normally judge people by appearances but anyone who thinks there's nothing to do in the glorious Yorkshire Dales deserves all they get

![]() ![]() ![]() Why did people go OTT about dogs being allowed there? Some people like to take their dogs on holiday. It's just a service they offer and clearly not for everyone. It's not like they have a pack of unruly dogs chasing round the place! |
