Thosesunglasses were ridiculous. Was she scared that Helen was going to steal them?

They would have all come out at the same time.
They are serving a group of moaners so want to get it right for good marks. If they all slept in the same bedroom I would agree they should all be served at the same time ![]() I would rather wait for a nice hot meal. By the way does anyone like tinned tomatoes as a plain veg as I detest them (only for sauces to my mind). Brings back horrific memories of a supper of grey fish fingers, black bitted chips and tinned tomatoes swimming in juice which made the whole meal a sloppy mess. |

I'm with you Bella especially after the ladies complained about their cold breakfast last time.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Helen may be a tad jealous of Louise!

Not really, Lincolnshire is a massive county. Please don't think all Lincolnshire women are like these four!
Helen (I think it is) has a very low self-esteem - why does she think that others are superior - I thought that everyone treated her quite respectfully. |

I don't have the space in my tum for more than a bowl of fresh fruit & a cup of Earl Grey nowadays, but if I could eat more my ideal breakfast would be poached eggs, crispy smoked bacon, a really good sausage (I don't normally eat them because I don't know what's in them) tinned tomatoes, hash brown or fried bread, large flat mushrooms, and if I still had space, thick brown toast with a dark, thick cut marmalade. Mmmmm - I wish! What would be your ideal breakfast? |

Oooh yes, big flat mushrooms baked in the oven with a knob of butter on top and a good twist of salt and pepper. Served with thick, crisp grilled bacon, fried bread and a couple of fried eggs, sunny side up.

I've said earlier about my preference for tinned toms over fresh - like daisydee it probably comes from childhood memories when tinned were much more available than fresh (though dad did grow them in the greenhouse).
But my favourite brekkie these days would be lightly poached smoked haddock with poached egg (no vinegar, please!). I'd also like some of those flat mushrooms on the side too, thankyou.

![]() Speaking of sexual matters, I don't really like the dance couple. They are too full of themselves and I do not wish to hear suggestions about their sex life or how beautiful their children are. They seem to have very big egos, especially her. How on earth she can be so good at dance with such big, fat swollen ankles? Miaow! Sorry!

Well that was all a non event lol.
BUT I bet there are low payments. Tall man with hat dropped the ball by cooking only for 2 at a time and this played into anyones hands who is playing tactically. I thought the place overall ok, but the decor not for me, too themed and fussy, and I hate stuffed toys. (Dust traps lol). Why he couldnt cook for 6 is beyond me. Most people have the sausage so you can cook them in the oven if necessary they are the longest thing to cook, the rest is easy. I can whip up a very nice tasty scrambled egg in the microwave in 2 minutes lol..... Oh yeh and screaming fish lady ticked me right off, what did she order for breakfast KIPPERS. The hypopcrisy of it all astounds me. So do the kippers come from the Iceland shop in a box already made then.... No its a HERRING, dragged out of the sea in huge trawler nests and thrown into a hold and suffocated slowly...... give me a break........... ![]() Still it all looked ok the hotel and I liked the host simply down to earth. BUT what was with the activity again? BORING. I think Helen really hates Louise but I think that young lady can hold her own. Talking of teeth i dont think Helen has bottom teeth and yes her friend has a few missing probably the coca cola she drinks sadly. Actually when she has her hair down, she looks quite a nice looking lass, but please put the baps away, it looks awful. I think tonights is going to be the entertaining one, although in my day I would have loved to dress up in all that Jazz and danced in their ballroom, what fun. I loved the headboard in one room, my kind of style anything Art neuvea (Art Deco) is simply fab lol... although looking on their website the rooms they are showing are all modern.....nothing like what we see tonight. They obviously do very well with their dance holidays. |

When I have a full English I prefer to have tinned toms than fresh. In my youth we only had a fried breakfast on a Sunday, we had eggs, bacon, fried bread & tinned toms. The crispy fried bread was great for sopping up the tomatoes that had been simmering for a while and tasted rich and delicious!

Ugh. Tinned tomatoes are for sauces only for me. I much prefer fresh cherry tomatoes. Uncooked, or only very slightly cooked.

I quite liked last nights place and owners, although the stuffed toys are not to my liking, but the rooms themselves were alright.
So IMO 2 owners out of 3 are good so far, wouldn't like to call it this week. |

Last week's tearoom couple has taken down the FaceBook page and their week's episodes have disappeared from 4OD. Possible legal action?
