I really wasn't impressed by tonight's place- the rooms were rather bland, weren't they? And the decor had nothing to do with the themed names. The road was noisy by the looks of it.
Catherine and her moaning!!! Enough already! Those breakfasts looked fantastic though, very well presented. I also loved the chairs they were sitting on at breakfast time. I know I have already said this, I will say it again, tonight's hosts body language and just their whole demeanour is horrible. The chef guy was sat at the dinner table as if he was just about to scratch his balls. And they are so scruffy looking as well. |

Those sausages looked ok. Sausages are like that when they are turned over - brown on two sides and then there are two pale sides. She seemed to think that because they weren't brown all the way round they weren't cooked. She's an odd woman.
As for the rest, some of them seem very spiteful. |

I thought she deemed them undercooked because they still had some juice in them, instead of being cremated.

Calm down, she is an older lady I said, at 62, I am an older lady and I am 64. I would find it very intimidating having all that crew around me and trying to cook.
No need for the heavens sake jeez..... ![]() Really?Catherine herself pointed out that she's an "old hand" at this lark compared to the others, and she's been pretty unbending in her opinion on breakfasts. Strange, therefore, that she should find preparing breakfast for six guests so taxing. She really is very irritating. "Heaven's sake" draws comment but "jeez" is fine

In the preview last night, tonights couple said they allow dogs. Cue someone (Shannon?) saying they are not happy about that. Cue complaints.
The boys are seen with gloves and sellotape getting hairs (probably fibres really) off a rug. Cue low score and nastiness. This is all clearly set up by the production, and is now really getting on my nerves. Depending on how bad the sellotape incident is tonight, this may be the final straw for me and I may well stop watching FIAB. |

I've not had time to read all the posts this week but Catherine's voice OK I accept regional accents do vary but the over-emphasis coupled with the moaning would be enough for me to exit her place through the lav window (without paying) ..

Catherine is driving me insane. Whine, whine, moan etc.... is all she ever does.
I didn't particulary like her place but her burnt/overcooked food would put me off even more! Removing drawers seems rather extreme when checking a room and of course dust shows up even more on dark wood. Other than that the rooms appeared very clean. As for the little water splash marks on the shower screen, I wonder if Catherine washes her garish shower curtains/toilet covers each day, I hate to think what lurks on them! ![]() ![]() I'll reserve judgement on the CSI style check until I've actually seen it, they may just be having a bit of a laugh. |

... The misspelling of the Sugar BeAt just grates on me. It's not as clever or witty as they think. Even though I understood once I saw the record theme, it's just didn't hit the right note

I'm not keen on Catherine tbh, I get the feeling she isn't the sweet older lady she portrays.
What is wrong with this site today or is it just me, am typing and getting purple and white checks flashing on the page. |

This is getting ridiculous now, on his hands and knees using sticky tape to find hairs, apart from seeing the rooms and the breakfast, the people in it are boring me now,
i dont mind them finding obvious dirt/dust, but when they seek it out then the game playing has become more important to them than anything else, its ruining the program imo |

I had a late hospital appointment this afternoon, so haven't seen tonights place yet. I'll watch it after It Takes Two.
BUT, I did say a few pages back about tomorrow's place. It is literally less than 2 miles away from me. It is part of the Somerleyton estate which is owned by Lord Somerleyton. The present Lord inherited the title when his father died 3/4 years, and he is quite young - about 40-45. Interestly, the father was a page boy at the Queen's Coronation, and was Master of the Queen's Horse for a time. The estate is huge, and the Fritton Arms is only one of the properties encompassed by it. The couple on FIAB are managers. http://visit.somerleyton.co.uk/estate/ I have never been to the hotel so can't comment on it; well you don't go to hotels when you live down the road do you. Wasn't there another 1 last year sometime about a BB pub on a Norfolk/Suffolk estate owned by the big house, but managed a bloke on his own if I remember correctly. |

And it has died out a lot. Oooh-arrr etc.On a side note, @lucydtrym you need to learn how to multi quote x |
