Catherine reminds me of some creepy ventriliquist's doll...the way her eyes dart from side to side.

Wasn't her room far cheaper though? The boys was £150, her and Trevor's was £85.

I love the Kinks too, and was lucky enough (and old enough) to see them live back in the 60s, as well as The Who, The Animals, Roy Orbison and of course The Beatles - all at smallish local venues.

That price thing minus the pound sign I came across last week for the first time, in London staying at a Holiday Inn. I was by myself as I was there for work, and looked at the Room Service menu because I didn't want to be the sad old biddy dining alone in the restaurant. I couldn't work out for a while what the random figures were till I twigged they were prices. They didn't do that last time I stayed there which is less than 3 months ago.
Yep! (sorry I removed the "old biddy" from your quotes ) My evening dining alone on traveles

Wine, Wine
Dinner, Wine, Dinner, Wine
(Maybe a night cap )

Do the waiters ask you if you would like some food with your wine?

The boys in the lead. Looks like they are the winners cause they are going to spitefully underpay the last place.

You can buy large trees to plant, if they chose leylandii it wouldn't take long at all.

Most of the owners that take part in this show are a bad advert for the B&B business.

Agreed. I'm sure it's had an effect on B&B 's in this country. And not in a good way.

For gods sake, how hard can it be to bloody sit straight at the table?! I am finding Dave's posture unreasonably infuriating.
