Apparently she didnt from the horses mouth... They didnt brag at all, it was done in fun, it was also edited. The boys knew about the message afterwards. The Fritton only did it as a Joke as they couldnt find anything wrong and was messing about. Sian took the drawer out for a giggle never thought she would find anything, and of course they did a lot of dust. They wrote in it, gave a 6. BUT they did not use this find to down pay did they? They gave a full score as like they said the room was perfect and good value for the money. They actually paid full at Treberthen even though there were a few issues, and OVER PAID Bove House, even though they mentioned a couple of issues there as each place was GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. They are the only ones who played the game right for ages.

The saying goes cheat never prosperer. IF they thought they had won fairly why are they constantly excusing their actions on the Four in the Bed fan page. They had nothing much to complain about. The issues were agreed it was all edited and there were reasons for the issues.

Bove Town House, a key part of it's business is the healing and therapies that they offer. On their website the apartments are essentially self catering so although they offer accommodation (stunningly decorated btw) it's not their main business/focus. However, the £150 quoted was for an apartment that slept 4 (I think)
Katherine at Treberthan has 3 rooms which she has to offer B & B and she does this to cover her living expenses (sounds like she lost her husband when she was relatively young). Traditional B & B but it does mean she can be better value for money (no staff to pay etc) Although gawd, she needs to invest in a revamp on a room or two
SugarBeat is essentially a mass produced eatery (a former pub turned into a restaurant) catering for large scale food sales. These places are all about volume sales and that is their core business so the accommodation is secondary to the catering . Again they can probably afford to be "Good Value"
Fritton Arms is a hotel and therefore has all the usual expenses associated with that. High staff costs being at the top of the list so although everyone has moaned about the £140 room charge (lovely big rooms btw and a very pretty place to stay) that is the reality of hotels.
That's why I think it's impossible to compare. Time they changed the format and have a level playing field”
I totally 100 percent agree with your post. The only people who understood the game were Shannon and Trevor, and Sian and Ben. The former only dropped 5.00, the latter paying in full and over paying even with issues.

You can still judge if what they're charging us reasonable for what they're offering, not what you'd pay if you were going somewhere on holiday, not what you'd charge in your b&b in a back street next to an abattoir, not what you feel like paying because you had a row with the owner - whether it's value for what you're being asked to pay.”
I agree but they do, and that is why the format isnt working.
