Cream of Mushroom. With one marmite toast, followed by one marmalade toast.

Are my food choices very predictable?

Yes in a ** goodie bunchy ** way

I have just this minute enjoyed half a black olive Ciabatta rustic bread loaf
[ Was £1-50 - I paid just 19p ]
I filled it with 2 big scoops of the Signature Florida Extra Fruity Coleslaw Salad -
[ Was £1-34 - I paid 39p / Got 2 tubs - also on Thursday night ]

& About half of the 2nd 430g Gourmet Antipasti Platter of assorted Olives tomatoes & cream cheese filled ? red small peppers -
[ Was £5-97 - I paid just 49p on Thursday / Got 2 --
The 1st Also had lots of layers of Various Salamis & fine ham prosciutto ]
Had the above with a nice mug of tea

Is there **one place** near you
that you could go to >>>>>>>> where you *could* buy ALL your last minute gifts etc ??

Asda I guess....but I won't be going

What a bargain Choccy, your antipasti platters If Morrisons were not at the far end of town I'd shop there. As it is, Lidl's nearest

A good freegan tip is to investigate shop dumpsters after close of business on Crimbo Eve. Often full of perfectly good food that goes out of date on the 24/25th. Useful for anyone on a budget!

Ever helped yourself to free food from round the back of a shop? I have!

I would if I could

Morrison's is all high Brick walled with huge wide & high Locked security gates on ALL sides
I HATE the thought of GOOD Foods being thrown out
Sometimes I will buy stacks of cheeses - etc -
which have to be sold before closing time
rather than leave them to be chucked out in a bin
Cheeses keep for ages beyond the sell by date anyway as do **many many other food items**

I am wondering if there is one place I could go to tomorrow to see if I can buy any
****** Gifts That I need to find *******
= May go to a Large shopping type mall tomorrow - where would you go ??

I hate shopping malls Nothing would induce me to go to one! I nipped down Herne Bay backstreet market earlier and there were some amazing bargains on the stalls. I popped in a charity shop or two but didn't linger.

Local folk have knitting bombed the post boxes of Herne Bay, they all look amazing!!

Anything like that near you?

Quite possibly. The spying on potential of it is vast.

There is light and darkness in Vikings, a lot of darkness to be honest, but then I think it is possibly the most truthful depiction of them and how they lived. There are many layers the deeper in you go. It's absolutely brutal and yet, there is such delicacy at times. I'd call it a massive achievement. Not for the faint hearted, like GOT you are not spared .... but it's done so well

If you had a DNA test done, would you secretly be hoping for Viking blood, or Celt?

I'd be so torn between the two, I'd just be honoured to have either. I bet I'd be blooming 80% anglo saxon

Queen of Sheba has had one of those tests done. Naturally it showed her having mostly Asiatic bloodlines but also some African, more than all of us have [since we all have one common ancestor from man's beginnings in Africa]. It was very interesting to see.

I'd love to do it but it costs!! Would you?
