Yes, the scent of fresh pine is lovely. I just don't like to kill a tree in order to smell it

Finally home again, so nice to be in!! Pizza in oven, coffee made, bliss.

Is there no place like home?

That would have been Splint's in September 2014

Just found out stoatie was also at the Nephs last night, I thought I saw him!!! But in a sea of Goths you can never be TOO sure

I had a few last night as well ...... Christmas spirit and all that Does it surprise you to find a table in a pub where folks have abandoned about £20 worth of drinks UNFINISHED? As in, most of the drink left? At London pub prices who can afford to do that?

I've removed them all and packed in a bag since they have to go to my son's as I will be there on the day. I'd have opened the lot today cos it's Yule but they are doing presents on the 25th so I will go along with it

Just heard I have to trawl round delivering work cheques tomorrow because the treasurer f***ed up and they are overdue and folks had been promised them before crimbo Oh joy, and the roads are heaving! At least I can claim back the petrol money!

Fave cracker to have with cheese?

My hubby and son have just gone off to see Star Wars and have already booked the seats. I don't think they would have stood a chance of getting in otherwise.

Typically, I seem to have developed a bit of a stomach upset and don't want to eat, I hope it's not going to brew up into something worse just for Christmas.

Been to crem to take flowers up today. My Mum died 14 years ago today and it doesn't seem possible it's that long. Do you think that years are going faster and faster all the time?

It does often seem that way, Fibro. I hope you'll soon feel better what with all the festive feasts!!

I'm burning my Yule log! It's giving off so much heat it's almost too hot in my living room

Son has just called re posts above and offered to get us croissants for Xmas brekky.....he's improving with age!

I received a card today with no writing inside whatsoever, so I have no idea who sent it....has that ever happened to you?

Yes
One of my best mates is infamous for doing that, or putting her designs (she makes all her own) upside down or some other catastrophe which never fails to give us a good giggle.
It's become tradition now and I don't expect anything that isn't flawed with imperfections

Where does one buy a yule log?
(Next Crimbo will have lovely stove fire )

This year But I will when I get round to it cos I know me mam would be mad as her arse if I didn't bother. Now it's finally decided we'll be having Christmas dinner here - last year in mums home, I better show willing and throw some bits of tinsel about. Bah!

Only other time was the one year I was living away from home.

I've always put them up. It wouldn't be the same without

I've foolishly opened a tin of roasted almonds. How many will be left by the end of the night?
