No. That's revolting!!

Ever put butter on digestive biscquits??
twassington
06-01-2016
Guilty as charged

My granddad used to fold his bread and butter then dip it in his tea and eat it. I tried it once but it WAS disgusting When my mum was in the old folks home I saw several of the residents doing it with obvious relish. Maybe it's a past generation thing?

Could be.

Ever spread the Xmas Turkey 'dripping' on your toast the next day??
silentNate
06-01-2016

farmer bob

Only when chips are fried in it.

06-01-2016
4 glasses, also drink coffee too though.

How many books do you hope to read this year??
silentNate
06-01-2016

You should be drinking 1.5 litres per day at least

Is resigning live on TV the act of a childish MP??

Totally self indulgent. What a prat

Just been for a yomp through the muddy puddles about a mile. Spring is springing with a vengeance out there....even the bluebells look like they are coming up

Last time you took a country walk? And yes I hugged a couple of trees
silentNate
06-01-2016
Not since last year. Do you not worry about picking up fleas when walking in the woods??
twassington
06-01-2016
No, I had knee length wellies on, thick jeans, a fleece that hangs down over me hands and I think I was safe enough.

I'd never go in the woods in bare legs and sandals though due to ticks...would you?
farmer bob
06-01-2016
Have done. Shouldn't be that prevalent (ticks), as far South as you are.

*Nate, my glasses of water are huge*

What's for dinner??
twassington
06-01-2016
Rice and bits and bobs. Basically, leftovers

We do have some ticks in Kent, it pays to be cautious!

silentNate
06-01-2016
Two years but it seems older as everyone has a smartphone now, even my wife!!

What phone should I get??
twassington
06-01-2016
I have no idea about phones, sorry....I just have my son or DIL's old ones!! Had the current one four years and DIL had it for a couple of years before that. Still works OK

Do people spend far too much time playing with their phones in general?
ChoccyCarole
06-01-2016
Yes

Just last week -at night time - while I was unpacking my shopping
I noticed 4 cars came and parked near me - in the supermarket car park
Someone got out of each of the cars - and went in to do some shopping
The drivers of each car could be seen immediately seen engrossed = all busy looking at the lit screens on their phones - Until their passengers returned to the cars

The local kids around here seem to be addicted Daily using their iphones / ipads
kindles or various tablets
to text others back n forth for ages
or - sing & lip sinc while videoing themselves especially on their ipads
or looking at lots of You Tube vids etc etc
sometimes they are on their Segways at the same time that they are busy on techy pads

When we went for a 2 hour walk the other night [ on 4th January 6-30pm till 8-30pm ]
we just chatted all the way there and back with Milo

I got a bag of Yummy Chips at the ** 1 hour away chip shop ** / Kids got 4 Scallops each
We ate them as we all walked home

Last thing you bought from the chippie ??
and
How often do you Pop in to buy something ??
twassington
06-01-2016
Not been to the chippie since September, when I got fish n chips for DIL and I while my son was in Hong Kong.

My nearest is four miles away though!

How near is your nearest chippie?
farmer bob
06-01-2016
I have 5 within close reach, 3 are very good.

Will you be watching Dickensian @ 8.30pm??
twassington
06-01-2016
No, I am going to download it from iPlayer to watch tomorrow No spoilers please!!

Do you find some nights there is nothing on at all, and other nights far too many progs you want to see all on at once?
farmer bob
06-01-2016
Sunday night, the prime example. War & Peace, Deutschland 83', Endeavour, all on at the same time.

Is £9.99 for a filter coffee maker machine too good to be true??
twassington
