Chocolate crunch/concrete with white or chocolate custard

What was the fave main? Mine was fish and chips - usually fish fingers or fishcake.

I loved every single one of my school dinners
We never ever got chips
But the intense flavour of the Baked Cheese n onion on a base of pastry - was amazingly good - I have sometimes tried to replicate it - but it has never ever turned out **so good**
Luckily My Mum often made chips or some form of potatoes at home !

The Skin on a Homemade Rice Pud -=- Yum !!!
Fave Pud at school may have been the jam and coconut tart topped with umpteen jugs of thick custard
[ All the Kids from all the surrounding tables passed me loads of their Unused custard ]

[ re :- page 129 on your 4th Jan 2016 post ]
Twassy I have just received a pretty gift box -- of Some L'Occitane products
including a Little boxed bottle of
7.5ml of "Some delightful L'Occitane & Neroli Orchidee "

I have dabbed some on immediately - and it IS really lovely !!!!!

The box also contains - 3 identical - sealed - tubes - [ silvery little metal tabs ]
3 x 50ml = of The Nero Orchidee Lait Parfume Body Milk - which is also lovely
The cute box has a golden background - with a cerise n pink scattered bauble pattern
& a golden bow - on top ]

Down 2lbs today after my efforts yesterday
Do you make a concerted effort some days - in order to try & get back on track ??

Dunno, I'm kinda so overwhelmed with work at the moment that it feels like I can't catch a break

Favourite thing to put in the bath??

Myself

Or Radox.

I love that Neroli and Orchidee! It's the best smell and they package up their toiletries so beautifully at L'Occitane. I should blooming think so at the price I look for offers and sales for mine!

I shall weigh myself at the weekend, and I had better have lost some as I've done a ton more exercise than normal and tried to be good on the food front. I did finish off the booze chocolates last night though. Have you eaten all the crimbo chocs?

We have some unwanted bisquits (last in the selection box) and some haribo but that's it

Have you got any cheese left?? I've got to buy more bisquits for the cheese I've got left

I've still got a little bit of Stilton left in my Xmas jar.

How could anyone not love Stilton, the Big Cheese of cheeses!
silentNate

I don't like stilton, sorry

I baked my Camembert and had it with a lovely warm crusty baguette with cranberry sauce on the side... sound nice??

It does indeed. If it's on the starter menu I'm always tempted.

I once saw Tickler recommended if you wanted a strong cheddar. Any other suggestions for cheddar with a bite?

My local Kentish one. I can't remember the name but it takes the roof off your mouth and is the best I ever tasted!!

Your camembert bake sounds lush Nate

What's the best way to eat cheese....cooked or as it is?

Look out for 'vintage' cheddar at the supermarket, often one brand or other is on offer e.g. at Morrisons.
I am enjoying 'Serously Strong' Vintage Cheddar at the moment. It has been matured for over 20 months.

Did you find the TV over Christmas a bit disappointing?
ChoccyCarole

Christmas tv is always rubbish

Best TV show you have enjoyed so far this week ?

I used to, not so much these days.

Do you find when watching the news that the sort of things that used to really shock you are now just commonplace?
silentNate
07-01-2016
Dunno, still shocked at Obama crying

Did you see that??
twassington
07-01-2016
Yes, I was surprised.

Genuine tears, or put on for effect? I thought they looked genuine tbh
silentNate
07-01-2016
Genuine I would say, but then I don't work for Faux News

Coldest night yet??
twassington
07-01-2016
It is well cold! I've stoked the fire up.

There will be snow up north next week apparently. Do you think it will come down south?
silentNate
07-01-2016
I hope not!

D you ever feel lonely??
twassington
07-01-2016
I can't say I do, despite living on my own. I don't feel alone here. I felt more alone in London sometimes to be honest and I didn't live on my own then as you know. Circumstances

Do you feel lonely?
silentNate
07-01-2016
Just watching a documentary about loneliness. I love being on my own but my life is too bust to be lonely thankfully

Are you bothered by the Chinese stock market crashing??
Multimedia81
07-01-2016

silentNate
07-01-2016

Do you like Mondays??
