I'd rather have chips and battered fish!

Do you like tatare sauce?
ChoccyCarole

I used to -
One night - I Went out on impulse just to buy one from Asda - for about £50 -
It was a big white lidded Circular Electric one which was a well known brand
Maybe Moulinex ?

Only used it twice and it was taking up too much space for ages
I eventually gave it to my Dad's Wife

My mother made yummy chips most night's in those Large heavy chip pans with the basket insert
Which Chip maker >>>> would you prefer ????
1 / The old style
2 / The electric lidded one
3 / The latest electric VERY Expensive sort that Twassy luckily got
that uses just a spoon of oil ???

watching 2 episodes of Corrie >>>>>> Followed by (((( Amy )))) @ 9pm

With Some assorted Artisan bread Toasts - topped with
Houmous Royal Canadian Cheddar Cheese - Lush sweet small Tomatoes
Scrumpy mixed Olives
I may also have this with Blue Cheese - a few pickled gherkins & lots of sliced beetroot & maybe some of that Cherrywood smoked Carved Ham & sprinkled with snipped salad onions & salad cream ]

Oh yes it is the perfect use of a ripe avo! I also have one I got cheap with yellow sticker but not THAT cheap. Mine was 30p! I will make guacamole tomorrow

I hope you have lime juice to put in it?
ChoccyCarole
08-01-2016
Yes ---------- I do
I got a big bag of About 10 Limes for 19p over Xmas -
and 10 lemons in another bag also for 19p ]
I have only used 1 lime so far - over the last 2 nights
Used to squeeze over my Big Spicy Veggie Wokky Noodle Stir fry

It would be quicker to say what bargain food items that - I didn't get - -

Do you wear 2 or more pairs of socks if your feet feel too cold ??
twassington
08-01-2016
Yes, the power of layers works well in Winter!

Are you bracing yourself for the cold snap coming next week?
tanstaafl
08-01-2016
It depends on the source of this prediction. If it's The Express then I'd trust it about as far as I could throw an iceberg.

Do you agree that a few severe frosts are necessary to kill off garden pests?
twassington
08-01-2016
Yes, bring them on I need to kill all the mosquitoes and other biting nasties that are still lurking in Southern England.

last time an insect bit you? For me it was last week!!
tanstaafl
08-01-2016
Generally I seem to be a one man insect repellent. However, bees do seem to take a fancy to me. The last time was when I lifted a bottle of Stella to my lips whilst sitting in the garden and being stung in my mouth. Everyone around found this highly amusing, the unsympathetic wretches.

Can you pronounce neonicotinoids?
twassington
08-01-2016
Yes. Neonicotinoids!! There you go

Can you pronounce Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch?
silentNate
08-01-2016
Nope. Can you?? Could you also upload it to youtube as evidence??
twassington
08-01-2016
I coudn't begin to pronounce it. Not being Welsh

So the government reckons the only safe booze level is zero. What do you say to that?
tanstaafl
08-01-2016
I'd say that the glass of red wine that I am sipping at this very moment answers your question.

Why do people force themselves to drink Bailey's. (No one does it voluntarily, surely?)
twassington
08-01-2016
It's the most gross liquid I have ever [reluctantly] tasted. Sweet creamy gloop only fit for teenagers

Ever eaten langoustines?
EStaffs90
08-01-2016
I don't even know what that is.

Why do people subject themselves to American beer, when it tastes like pißwasser?
silentNate
08-01-2016
Not all American beer is like Coors or Bud!! In the US microbreweries are where you get the good stuff

Are you anti-American??
twassington
08-01-2016
Not in general. After all, it's where peanut butter came from!!

Isn't it?
silentNate
08-01-2016
Peanut butter dates back to the Aztecs and the Incas but a Canadian was the first to patent it!

Not bad... I was worried Aussies came up with it

How many pillows do you have on your bed??
twassington
08-01-2016
Two as it's a double bed, but I only use one.

How many do you like sleeping on?
silentNate
08-01-2016
Two. Any fewer and my neck hurts

Watching Amy??
twassington
08-01-2016
I am. Its a very good documentary....most revealing but also very sad. She was very striking and beautiful when young.

I love Camden but it's a heady cocktail sometimes for the young and reckless. Last time you were in the World's End?
silentNate
08-01-2016
Not for a very long time

Camden doesn't actually have a decent venue imho, the Roundhouse having superior acoustics and technically being in Chalk Farm

Have you visited Proud in Camden??
twassington
08-01-2016
Is that down near the Stables market?

Splint and I took eugene round Camden once, we went in Amy's local....Hawley Scorely as it was known .... just over the road from Camden Lock. Know that one?
silentNate
08-01-2016
Nope. I went to school in Camden for a little while but have disliked it since it became a 'scene'

Coolest hangout when you were growing up??
