Blessed Samhain to all Whatever you choose or choose not to do.

Are you the life and soul of a party or a quiet observer?

A quiet observer, I am not that keen on parties and get very nervous at them.

Twass, I noticed that you mentioned Alan Garner a bit back. My cousin was married to him many years ago and they had three children. Just a bit of trivial info there.

I'm off to see rellies for the day and out for a meal with them later. Do you often meet up with rellies? We don't do it that often really but have done a bit more this year.

I very rarely see any of my relations other than my kids and grandkids. Frankly I like it that way

What a small world, your cousin being married to Alan Garner! Great writer in my opinion.

What colour are you mostly wearing today? I am mostly black....with orange tie die t shirt

When in the London house, the launderette was at the bottom of the road, just as well since we were regular clients .... take a book, they are soulless boring places. Also drink and snacks, you don't want the drinks from the elderly cup a guessthesubstance machines in them 30p a cup of grey, rank liquid

If my washing machine packs up tis down to the Landlord to fix it, and last time it happened he told my neighbour to let me use theirs!! I also let them use mine when theirs broke. Would any of your neighbours allow that?

No, cos I don't eat a lot of sugar.

The new neighbour is nice so far as I can tell, I rarely lay eyes on him.....but he loves his cat and doesn't sunbathe in the altogether so he'll do

Planning on king prawns with marie rose dip, guacamole, cheeses and home made spicy rock buns for laters, with raspberries and apples from the little smallholding by the woods. Also nut bars, almonds, and choccies!!!

Will I explode?

There's Coraline on Film4 at 4.45, you know what a massive Neil Gaiman fan I am Followed by the Addams Family which I love. Then on the Horror Channel at 9 there's a Premiere of Possession, which has Geoffrey Dean Morgan in is so I'll watch that no matter how dreadful it is Following that, Halloween III - Season of the Witch.

For once a night of reasonable tellybox! What will you be watching?

Possibly not what most folks will be doing.

I love that Cure song! Many of theirs are proper creepy. My fave spooky would be Moonchild by Fields of the Nephilim.

Done some vigorous clearing in the garden, defeated in the end by nettle stings Have retreated wrapped in docks

Do you forget you are cooking things and burn stuff?

Nope, I tend to stand over stuff and steer my wife out of the kitchen lest she interferes

Do you tend to interfere when others are cooking??

Salted for everything other than cake making, although I put salted in the rock cakes as you are meant to add a pinch of salt

My avocado wasn't ripe Still made the guacamole but it will be a bit chunky. All is done, I shall sit and watch Coraline then have The Addams Family in the background [seen it loads of times] while the business of the evening is attended to and food scoffed over a period of hours

Where's everyone else apart from us?
