Thick custard or not so thick custard ?
silentNate
09-01-2016
Not so thick

Do you like the skin on the custard??
ChoccyCarole
09-01-2016
Don't mind it - but not seen it for years
I have enjoyed lots of thick custard over the last 4 days

Do you make it up at home - or buy it ready made ??
silentNate
09-01-2016
Buy it in a can

Do you often make dessert??
ChoccyCarole
09-01-2016
In a way - Yes [ Just lately I have made lots of quick and easy desserts ]

Because I Got lots of Bargains lately such as :-
A Large Bakewell Tart [ for 39p ]
2 x 6 minced pies -[ @9p]
5 x Lemon donuts [ for 5p ]
8x Stollen cakes [ Free ]

All I have done is just heated up the many portions of the listed bargains
In the microwave - for about 20 seconds - for each of the above puds

Then for each Chosen Heated Pud - I just made up batches Of Thick HOT Custard each time
Using my **** Quick and Easy **** 2 Heaped Tsp x 2 Minute Microwave Method

Using **2 Heaped Tsps of dried Milk Powder ** / I would use 150mls of milk if I had it
with same ^^^^^^^^^^^^ Quantity of Bird's / or Morrison's Custard powder
2 tsps sugar or >>>>>>>>> 2 Hermesetas
Then mix well >>>>>>>>> by adding 150mls of cold tap water
Then stirring well 2 to 3 times during the 2 mins in the Microwave - -

PS IF you don't like it becoming too thick - I would use maybe up to 180 mls of milk or water >>>>>>>>>>>>
I presume this would still work out OK - using PANS on the gas or electric stove

Will you give this a go ??
