Well yes and no. What else can they do to state their case but withdraw labour? But then ordinary folk suffer, ops are postponed, long awaited appointments cancelled. I feel sure they didn't take that step lightly.

Glorious day outside.....done some much needed gardening and everything is shooting and sprouting

Mine are black, and yes, he is, massively as you'd expect

Like you I have two pairs I hope to fit into that I got in the charity shop in a mood of optimism. Why do sizes vary so much so that some jeans size 14 are fine, even loose and other same size are too tight to do the zip up??

I hope it's not a child or an elderly person and I hope it's in a safe manufacturing environment with Health & Safety laws.

Do you mend old clothes or chuck them out and get new?

I mend things and adjust lots of them too - if need be

My clothes always last forever & still look like new
Just some of my every day fleece zip up tops or dressing gowns can get a bit more worn looking

It is a lot colder here this afternoon brrrrrrrrr
and is already looking rather dark out there
Same for you ?

While giving the shopkeeper the full force of your baby blues.

What is the one staple food you couldn't live without? Mine would be bread.

Only if you're referring to crackers.

Do you buy a newspaper, or do you read it online?

The Metro was launched in London on 16 March 1999 and can now be found in several UK urban centres, plus some smaller railway stations. Localised editions are produced for Birmingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Derby, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Nottingham, Newcastle, and Sheffield. In June 2015, the Metro began circulation in Norwich.

Ain't wikipedia great??
