Very few. I did ballet class for a year or two, Girl Guides....and that was it.

In the main only those we provided ourselves. None of this modern everything done for you. And it involved going into the fresh air and not skulking in a bedroom with an electronic device. (Mutter, mumble, mutter, these youngsters of today . . .)

Name one modern out-of-school activity that would have done we elderly the world of good if it had been available back then.

Drama lessons would have been nice, but kids just didn't do all that stuff back then. Mostly as you say we were outdoors making our own entertainment.

I'm very glad not to be a modern day child. My granddaughters have EVERYTHING and are never as happy as I was.

Would you want to be a kid now?

I never download tv programmes, got a PVR recorder box, great for skipping through advert breaks.

I've been blonde and had green hair... when it washed out I went ginger!!

No, never....back in the 80s I used to shave off a bit at the front.

I wish my hair wouldn't grow so fast, it's ridiculous I forget how long it is since I tend to shove it up or wear a plait most days.

Oh yes, I took my 'half-sister' there. Took her to some cemeteries as well as she does tombstone rubbings!

I once saw a triple one and have on quite a few occasions seen a double
