Actually, yes, but a long, long time ago. IIRC it was called Spanish Root and it, well, looked like a root. You determinedly chewed it to extract the juice.

Anything else that you were daft enough to enjoy when young?

Raw spaghetti as a child. It wasn't nice. I also tried sticking one of my mother's After Eights to the radiator then licking it off. I was a strange child.

Did you play tricks on your parents?

The snooker thing? I find snooker one of the most tedious things on earth, only second to golf! I guess it's meant to be funny.....about as entertaining as Steve Davis giving a speech

I think there will always be a market for meat of some sort. It would do us all a favour to eat veg instead though.

Every two or three wears, or sooner as living here they get filtherous soon enough. Mucky jobs to do although the one benefit of the frost is that the mud is frozen solid. I can get to the woodshed and keep me wellies clean at the moment

Surely he always was?

A classic example of money can't buy you love......beautifully shot though. It does lack a bit of RUSSIANness perhaps.

Ever visited Moscow?

Yes, it's not about skin colour it's about talent. Some years nearly all the nominees could be black. Maybe hasn't happened yet but it could. Would white directors kick off? I doubt it.

Can't remember so it must be a long time ago Twass.

I've just taken up an offer at a local hotel. Pay £10 and can go anytime for the next 12 days as many times as you like in thier swimming pool, hot tub, gym etc. I am going to try to get to the pool as I can hardly walk just now, and it might help. Good offer.

What's on your calendars for this year?
