Yes. No amount of placating the gods will make any difference. And blood sacrifice is absolutely pointless
![]() According to a survey no Icelanders under 25 believe God created the world or the Universe. Will this become universal? |

Yes, it's not about skin colour it's about talent. Some years nearly all the nominees could be black. Maybe hasn't happened yet but it could. Would white directors kick off? I doubt it.

No, I know that the idea of vampires came from this 'invasion' of Hungarians and other Eastern Europeans coming to England which inspired Stoker. Hence some villages dug up people and drove stakes into where their heart had been

No but I have never seen that
Does it happen more in GD??I meant that in theory, of course most nominees could be black in future years, if it so happened they were the most deserving of the award. Not being a cinema goer I am not familiar with the films up for oscars but I know the panel are mostly white men. Having faith in humanity I would hope this wouldn't skew the noms as that would suggest the panel was racist, which hopefully isn't the case. What I don't know however is if the films chosen featured black actors or not....never been that interested in awards ceremonies, who chooses the films? |

Oddschecker is giving The Big Short at 10/1 as compared to Spotlight at 11/8. I think I might give it a punt
