Fantastic. The first two weeks we were having a great holibob. Then finally got some hospital appointments I have been waiting for, then ended the month off with visiting some relatives and having a meal out with them.

Well, sorry yours wasn't good Nate. I hope November is a better month for you.

Which meat do you like best out of, chicken, beef, lamb or pork?

I guess chicken. I've noticed over the past years I eat meat more rarely and when I do it's never as nice as I think it will be so it's less often.

Well, Halloween 3 was so scary I fell asleep during it

Very foggy and mysterious here on this November 1st.......and the brown and yellow leaves are drifting through it slowly spiralling to earth.

Are you doing anything much today?

It is, although it's a lane, not a street. Great drifts of flame, yellow, brown, orange, and red.

I must face a small pile of ironing

Already cleaned the bathroom and tidied away all the signs of celebratoriness from last night....well apart from the pumpkin. I shall light him tonight as well

No sign of the fog clearing....most atmospheric Have you had a seasonal spiced coffee yet?

I honestly don't think I have ever been to a Starbucks. I don't like coffee. I do like to go to Costa though for their Hot Chocolate.

There's no fog here, unless there was earlier, mind you I only woke up half an hour ago. Worn out from spending day with relatives etc.

I love all the different colour of the leaves at this time of year.

Do you have many trees in your garden?

Eight. None of them all that large, but I love them all

I've not been in Starbucks in years. I tend to go to small, independent coffee shops although even then, not often. But at this time of year I will treat myself to a gingerbread latte if I see one!!

Do you like gingerbread?

Very, quite remarkably mild for November. Long may it last!! Fog is still here, being added to by my neighbour's bonfire which is still burning. Festooned the spare room in laundry since although I like the smell of woodsmoke, not on me clean clothes!! It's too damp out there to dry in any case.

Do you use the tumble dryers at the launderette or bring things home to dry naturally?

I don't use a lauderette, just my washing machine and tumble dryer, or dry outside on the line with the weather is good enough to do so.

What's for dinner?

It's James L Brooks who for all the Simpsons Halloween Specials tends to call himself James HELL Brooks in the titles Although in the one I saw the other night he was James ICANSEEYOUNAKED Brooks

Did you see the one where Homer falls into Moe's cellar and gets impaled on his brewing machine and the beer turns pink?

No! I've not seen that one. I am always surprised to find there are episodes of the Simpsons I've not seen.

Do you think there could be parallel universes literally all around us?

Roast dinner, unusually enough for me. It will be toast for laters.

Bill & Ted or Addams Family Values?
