I hardly ever use my phone, and top up £10 every 6-8 weeks. Mostly it is for emergencies or occasional use.

How much sugar do you think you consume per day in teaspoons?

I have been told on Friday that if I went back to pay as you go - now you have to top up £10 every Month
Unlike years ago - I would only top up when I needed to - which was maybe 2 or 3 times a year - which I did from around 1995 onwards
Since 2008 I have paid £10 then £12'ish pounds every week for a phone that until this week was rarely ever used for anything -

In those 8 years I may have made 8 phone calls / sent 10 texts and used to
the internet to search for 4 postcodes for my sat nav if I was already out and was meeting someone at a new location

Actual teaspoons of sugar most weeks would be zero
But I did use caster sugar to put on cornflakes a few times earlier this month and just once - when I made custard - about 6 nights in a row recently

I used about a tsp each time

How about you ?

I don't add sugar to anything except custard!
Did you know that a potato baked in its jacket contains plant sugar that is equivalent to 32 teaspoons of granulated sugar?

What I really meant was, are you aware how much sugar is in all processed food...for example there is more sugar in cornflakes than you'd think, and then to add more

I try my best to keep to the 6 tsps a day that is recommended. This includes all sugars added in foods, I never add sugar to things, and rarely eat biskwits or cake. I had a brownie today but otherwise been good. Making your own food from scratch is the best way to cut down on hidden sugars.

Do you read food labels for sugar, fats and salt content or just buy it regardless?

I think I am well mannered

I did check foods etc for a few weeks a while ago

I may check calories on ready meals and sometimes put the pack back if it was too high
Sometimes I must have loads of sugar if I start on chocs n puds

Do you have fruit many times each week ?

Every day, 2 portions at least....apparently the naturally occuring sugars in fruits are released much more slowly into the body and the nutrients and fibre in them more than compensate for the sugar. So keep eating fruit!!

Drinking OJ is not so good however.....no fibre and the fruit sugar gets concentrated

Do you drink much fruit juice?

Not much, if I ever have fruit juice I have to dilute it with water or it tastes too strong.

Do you buy tinned fruit in syrup or juice?
