No thanks.

Single cream, double cream or clotted cream?
twassington
01-11-2015
Double, whipped please. That goes with everything!

Do you own any leather clothing?
silentNate
01-11-2015
I used to own leather trousers but they fell apart. I have leather trainers

Have you seen 400 Days??
twassington

No, hadn't heard of it, it looks a proper mindf*ck!!!

Which is more scary, a film like that or a supernatural shocker?
silentNate
01-11-2015
Films like that I guess

Do you like gooseberries??
twassington
01-11-2015
Yes, lovely when fully ripe and when they go soft and pinkish. Underripe and green they are only good cooked with plenty of sugar - even then they can remove the enamel from your teeth Make delicious jam.

Have you got some?
silentNate
01-11-2015
Nah, I find them too acidic.

Do you like rhubarb??
twassington
01-11-2015
Yup, I likes that as well! The tastiest is forced champagne rhubarb, like my Granddad grew with a metal dustbin over it. Very pale pink and lush.

Best way to eat rhubarb?
silentNate

In a crumble with custard

Can you make decent custard or do you heat from a packet??
twassington
01-11-2015
I can usually make non lumpy custard although I have been known to burn it or produce lumps and slop

Instant packet custard is vile!!!

Birds custard powder makes a decent sort though. Do you make it from scratch with eggs, sugar and milk?

Me?? I buy those Devon custard tins and heat it up

Ever feel life is too short to do some things??
twassington

I post in quite a few on DS and then there is Facebook and various clubs on there. I know I spend fat too much time on the computer and then moan that I don't have time to read any more like I used to. All this stuff can be very addictive though, don't you think?

Yes

400 Days was awesome, great film

Last decent film you watched??
twassington

Well I really liked Coraline which I saw the other night. Not a child's film, more for teens, dark and brilliant like everything from Neil Gaiman's mind.

I manage to read as well as internet generally as I do the net in short bursts throughout the day....starting with quite a big burst when I first get up and ending with quite a big burst on and off during the evening.

Shreddies or Weetabix?
silentNate
02-11-2015
Weetabix

Do you have cereal with hot milk in winter??
twassington
02-11-2015
Only if having porridge, otherwise cold.

Do you ever try nut milks, or soya?
silentNate
02-11-2015
Soya milk if we have vegan guests. It ain't all that bad tbh

Ever consider going vegan??
twassington
02-11-2015
Never seriously considered it due to loving cheese and eggs too much.

Although I've eaten vegan food plenty of times and it's delicious

Have you ever gone vegan for a period?
silentNate
02-11-2015
Nope, way too difficult for me

In relation to the 'Inactive Members' thread in GD - ever been banned from DS??
twassington
02-11-2015
Not so far, although I imagine I have pushed it close on occasion.

Have you been banned?
