Yes, lovely when fully ripe and when they go soft and pinkish. Underripe and green they are only good cooked with plenty of sugar - even then they can remove the enamel from your teeth Make delicious jam.

Have you got some?

Yup, I likes that as well! The tastiest is forced champagne rhubarb, like my Granddad grew with a metal dustbin over it. Very pale pink and lush.

Best way to eat rhubarb?

I can usually make non lumpy custard although I have been known to burn it or produce lumps and slop

Instant packet custard is vile!!!

Birds custard powder makes a decent sort though. Do you make it from scratch with eggs, sugar and milk?

I post in quite a few on DS and then there is Facebook and various clubs on there. I know I spend fat too much time on the computer and then moan that I don't have time to read any more like I used to. All this stuff can be very addictive though, don't you think?

Well I really liked Coraline which I saw the other night. Not a child's film, more for teens, dark and brilliant like everything from Neil Gaiman's mind.

I manage to read as well as internet generally as I do the net in short bursts throughout the day....starting with quite a big burst when I first get up and ending with quite a big burst on and off during the evening.

Shreddies or Weetabix?

Never seriously considered it due to loving cheese and eggs too much.

Although I've eaten vegan food plenty of times and it's delicious

Have you ever gone vegan for a period?
