I think the US and Britain should be taking more as penance for their stupidity in trying to police the middle east. So you sow as do you reap

Did you hear Terry Wogan has died??

I did, loved that show back in the day.

THIS is only a few miles from me. Do you despair sometimes at the news headlines?

I do, one can only hope these fascists take a walk a little too close to the edge of the white cliffs

I'm beginning to suspect either the BBC bring him out of suspended animation or he has drunk from some secret well.

Does immortality appeal to you??

Not in the least, my friend and I had this discussion over the weekend. She has no wish to be old. She wants to go before retirement age This being due to her husband being a painter and decorator who pays no NI or tax and will not get a state pension and her pension not being enough to pay the rent, bills, food etc. So she would rather not be around to have to deal with that As for me, I am not done with life yet but if I enter the territory of losing my marbles or the ability to live independently, that's it...I'm off.

What are your thoughts?

Well no one really knows in truth. However I do know that after Splint died he stayed with me some months. I felt his presence strongly and he left many many signs. He wasn't ready to pass, but he is at peace now. I like to think he is somewhere waiting in the Summerlands, the other side, call it what you will. But no one knows and I think when you pass it no longer matters....the closest brush with death I had when I clearly saw my own body lying on a hospital bed, I didn't care and was ready for whatever would come and I had just given birth to my longed for first child. It all changes I think, when you die. For those with a burden on their soul and unfinished business it's a lot harder to let go.

Will you celebrate Imbolc?

I did! Do you find music evokes more strong memories than almost anything else, of a particular time in your life?
