I need less phone calls. I don't like phone calls. In case any of you hadn't realised this

Do you ever shove your hands into the washing up water only to slice your finger open on a lurking knife?

Yes, last night.....what an eejit!!

How soon after waking up do you scoff something?
ChoccyCarole
07-02-2016
I don't recall cutting my pinkies that way
But sometimes I have several times - in close succession
Usually when I am preparing foods or fixing things
It sure does get in the way of doing many other things for quite a few days - till each cut or stab heals - much replacing of useless plasters

Hope your's heals soon Twassy 😉
edit ::::::::: I try to hold off eating - I think I mainly weight about 3 hours before I eat something which is usually after I have done * all the * morning routines *

Bright n sunny out there with rain droplets completely covering my windows from the downpour earlier
But ............Brrrr I now need to get another mug of tea & refill my bottle bottle

What do you need to do next ??

That sounds nice Choccy....I may have toast and PB although I see my daughter has no jam or marmalade in Or marmite!!!

Do you consider marmalade and marmite to be two things no home should be without?
ChoccyCarole
07-02-2016
Thanks Twassy
I have always got marmalades & marmite in
They would be must haves if I knew you were popping in

Omg - how about ....... is there at least any butter in da flat for you ????????

My must haves are raspberry jam tea bags dried milk powder a kettle AND A TV that works

( YAY Just Got my TV to work just now :- @ 8_55am
by simply reaching over & pressing the Down Arrow just Once for the Channels
located on the front of my TV underneath the screen )
& the day feels and * Sounds * more normal now at last !!!!!!!!

Do you always have scissors to hand in your kitchen
for opening pesky wrappages etc etc ?
twassington
07-02-2016
Yes, the scissors are always handy in my red jar of assorted utensils on the kitchen window sill.

I have nothing to do except wait for my lovely daughter to haul ass out of bed. She loves her kip...but she does work hard!!

Luckily there is butter....and cheeeeese!!!! And eggs

For basics I would need bread, butter, cheese, marmite, marmalade, eggs, milk and tea. If I could add tomatoes and apples I could live quite happily off that

If only allowed three things it would be bread, butter, mar...toss a coin

What would your three be?

Mini twass flat is sandwiched between an elderly lady on the ground floor who is in all the time and has the heating on 24/7 and upstairs who also seem to like it hot. She only has two storage heaters on low but it's ten degrees warmer than my cottage, I am sat here in a t shirt and PJ bottoms and slippers with no socks...perfectly toasty! But then I am used to it being about 8 degrees or less in winter inside the house

Ever see your breath frost indoors?
ChoccyCarole
07-02-2016
Yes - brrrrrrr sometimes

How fortunate to be between 2 warm dwellings

I am an end terrace and share a wall with my neighbour = her staircase & my chimney breast wall )
When I first moved here my gas fire kept her staircase wall warm to the touch for months

Very Bright n sunny here and it is also coming inside through into the lounge window right behind me

Do you get morning sunshine coming into your living room ?
twassington
07-02-2016
No but I get afternoon and evening sun in it...morning sun is the kitchen and bathroom and junkroom

While working mini twass is also in training to become a counsellor. Have you ever seen a counsellor?
ChoccyCarole
07-02-2016
No

That would be very rewarding to help people

What job / s have you been doing that you enjoyed most of all ?
( mine turned out to be bus driving in Sydney City for 8 years
and 2 jobs were I was working large PABX switch boards )

All my factory jobs, the lower paid and less taxing on the brain the more I enjoyed them

When I worked for Ford I used to split my pay into minutes in my brain then add up how much I was earning as the day went on

Furthest you have traveled for work??
ChoccyCarole
07-02-2016
[ Now Using my Lap top and my TV is now working since 9am ]

Longest distance from work was about 21 miles
and an infrequent packed train to get into Wellington City on the 1 hour trip
It took about 20 minutes just to get down the hill to my station in Silverstream
Then another 15 minute walk to The AMP Building on Customhouse Quay facing Wellington Harbour
Some days in NZ there was no room for anyone to board the train at my station
- then the next train was an hour wait - and no seats to sit on - ever !!!!! to and from work in Wellington
Also lived miles form my Bus Driving job in Sydney when I Lived in Summer Hill and had no car
Had to travel to Waverley bus depot near Bondi Beach
and then was transferred & worked at Randwick bus depot
Then got to Leichhardt Depot - which was much better -
but then I moved to live in Canterbury near the racecourse

My broken / All day shifts began between 5am and 6am
Had to get up at about 3am every morning
and didn't get home till dark at about 7pm - or 8pm

How about your longest distances ??
silentNate

What is the best way to spend 30p??
twassington

Best way to spend £1?
silentNate

A double Snickers or a t-shirt from a charity shop??

Can you get t-shirts that cheap??
twassington
07-02-2016
In charity shops get rid of rail, which most of them have, yes. Things which hang around in our cat shop get put on the rail of shame, basically £1 each or we have known folk offer us 50p. We just say yes. Anything is better than nowt for something we were freely given!

I once got a White Stuff top for £1 on a charity shop's get rid of rail. It would have been £40 new!! And there is nothing wrong with it. Still wearing it several years later

How often do you put clean sheets on the bed?
