You'd have to ask her that, I'm too much of a gentleman

Will we ever know the truth of what happened at Deepcut??

Probably not the whole truth, no Shocking disclosures!!

If you ever see a grey hair on one of your random trips to the mirror...do you leave it or yank it out?

Leave it. Grey hair on men is distinguished, on women it looks old

Got to take the cat to the vests, poorly eye

Would you use a floatation device??

It was very relaxing - I may have gone twice @ a new place in Balmain

Would you try them ??

Enjoy your visit

I may pop out to the Pooter repair shop as I jhd left a Fitness / Fit in 6 ? DVD in lappy which he saw - but forgot to replace it before I collected this blimmin laptop last Thursday night
Also I just can't access some of my my usual things on here such as my Vivofit Garmin stats and my Daily synchronized steps etc ! -
The last recorded steps I had done - is showing for the 24th of January

My newly set up TiVo box is mainly A FAR WORSE worse arrangement
than the OLD - Non TiVo box

I Do like being able to pause current TV Progs etc now
but the previous & most handy stuff is not possible now -
and all the TV guides and text is sooo different and so small -

They should have Kept the old good stuff -
such as being able to pre- arrange for chosen TV programmes to play - when they start
Even the new remote control feels awkward - is all different
buttons soooo small and It keeps causing sily drum sounds when you press certain buttons
The whole TIVO box system is basically >> Pathetical

You would think a new device would provide VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS
Do you agree ???????

Carole - I would think that but then I baulk at what a modern phone can do... I want to be out and about, not 'plugged in'

Am I a technophobic??

Almost certainly.

If you were on Countdown, would you do better in the letters or the numbers round?

I have a glass owl which is mostly orange and a green glass tiny owl.....

Sugar and lemon is bestest. I do like melted black choccy with strawberries and cream on them as well but we have none of that so lemon and sugar it was

How many did you have? Two each here but we'd already had a whopping plateful of fish pie.

None. Forgot it was pancake day

Did you know that in 2008 private investors bailed out Barclay's Bank (rather than them have a Govy. bail-out) and cashed in on a profit of over £2bn??

Yes, I had read that Those with money always make more and more of it, usually at the expense of those at the other end of the financial spectrum

Have you ever lent money and never had it back?

Yes - about 6 times
3 were very large amounts !!!!!!
3 were under £100

The first con job
[ He gave me a sob story that he urgently needed money
to travel to his poorly sister's wedding and get her a special gift etc ]

It was when I was 18 and it was a substantial amount
I had not long before left school and had then started working at my 2nd job a few months after leaving school
I emptied my account at work of over 2 full years of my diligent weekly savings
taken from ever pay packet - my wages were not very high at all
- but since leaving school I absolutely loved Saving money every week !!!!!!
and seeing my savings grow at the post office and work

it was loads !!!!! of money that I never saw again [ It was almost $500 ]

I have only just realised now - that it was about £1-000 in UK money
and must have already been enough to get me firmly on the property ladder etc

The guy at work who I had go to - to request
the *Total withdrawal* of my savings
- did gently advise me - not to do it

How about you ??

Once lent a substantial sum. Never got it back although the person I lent it to always meant to do it....just could never afford to . Also lent £75 once and didn't see that back either but they were an asshole and had no intention of paying it back. However other friends I have helped out now and then and I always get it back, usually with little presents attached.

Back home in the cottage, and it's so cold my breath is frosty!! Throwing caution to the winds I have put the heating on for an hour, just to thaw it out.

Just thawed myself out with a huge cup of tea and cheese on toast What was your lunch?

mmmm ☕🏡

I have had this as my brekkie @1pm
Quaker Oats from 2 different packets
( The Boxes were All selling for just £1 - so got lots of different flavours )
Fruity Blueberry
& sweet Cinnamon

Having A Mug of tea now / leaning my back against a freshly made hottie bottle
Which I recently started inserting - just inside a very BIG Cushion
that I bought quite recently from Ebay -
( it is quite chunky @ about 2' x 2' & is more than shoulder width and comes up to the back of my neck - so it is quite comfy )

I thought of a question immediately after posting my previous question
But thought - there was no need to ask it there and then
I will wait until I come back here and ask it then

Right Now I can't think what it was
Does this happen to you now and then ?
