Yes - because I google ' Hagstones " Over a year ago when you wrote in here about having one and . I think you may have said they were one of your favourite stones that you had collected
Your living room sounds exactly like mine when I lived in the ground floor flat in a converted terraced house in Paddington in Sydney on Hargrave Street that we were renting for a few years I loved it 🌟 and you could only have exactly what you have got in yours A small sofa & one armchair with TV beside it and a glass topped table I made in the centre But the TV was on some bricks - With some wooden planks that we found Same with the Low 2' square glass topped table in the centre of the room A pane of glass on house bricks The room was about 8 feet by 8 feet 😁 The property had 3 floors and itvwas a narrow but deep property A typical traditional terrace found in Paddington The Small cute kitchen was joined on to this room and visible through the Original - Window frame ![]() All that could fit in the kitchen was a little sink area below the stairs - a gas stove at the opposite end a couple of wall cupboards and a Formica dining table and maybe 2 chairs Positioned between the sink and the one and only door The kitchen was also the same width of the living room / 8 ffeet but was only a foot or two wider than the gas stove / maybe 5 feet ñ The only other room was a bedroom dug into the earth In the dark basement behind the living oom Just big enough for the double bed and a small wardrobe and chest if drawers It was such a unique cosy cute flat ![]() The living room walls were already painted letterbox gloss Red ![]() With a new soft nice turquoise carpet It had been painted a lovely leafy green gloss paint around the existing glassless window frame & 2 door frames We shared a bathroom etc just out by our kitchen door And we had a long narrow sunny garden outside the kitchen door There was a small hotpoint washer spinner outside In a handmade verandah styled shelter overed by that clear corrugated plastic roofin Can ya pic-cha --- it ?? 😁 ( said in the Ozzy accent with the must have UPward inflection )& Have ya enjoyed most of yor ' harzes 😐? |

I've enjoyed all the houses I've lived in since leaving the marital one....I don't have such good memories of that house other than all the times when my children were small and their birthdays, festive times, etc. Also I loved the house I grew up in despite it being rather a soulless 50s built little box on an estate full of similar boxes.
Of all my homes I love this current cottage the best, by far. This is perfect, I like old quirky places [even though I noticed one of my small window panes is loose this morning and the plaster is coming away here and there ] Today I bought a bunch of daffs for 90p in Lidl. Have you any spring flowers in your house yet? |

Well done 😀
I often see people buying several little bunches of daffa / especially when they are selling them off each night for 19p a bunch No - not had any spring flowers in here yet But have a Large **Signature** white floral bouquet / Stunningly beautiful ![]() Was £20 but I paid just which included Fabulous white large n small roses And about 5 gorgeous big white Lillies I removed them all in the shop with some assorted foliage and handed this smaller bunch which we had wrapped up ⏩ ....... over to my friend in there ![]() Because as you would know Any pollen from Lillies is fatal for kitties Because she has sadly not got her ![]() brother and sister kitties anymore Do you think that you drive >>>>>>> much more than 🚘 ➡ 20 miles ➡ most weeks ? |

Probably that amount at least, since I live far out and have 2-3 miles to drive to get anywhere remotely civilised
![]() You forgot to put the total amount in for the flowers...but I think you mentioned these same flowers recently as I recall you saying about removing the lilies. I am finally watching the last episode of War & Peace which I missed when away. Very tragic ![]() Do you cry over dramas/films or only over real life/news items? |

Yes I do start to feel sad n teary at various things I see or read about
..... But not full on crying ..... only because I try hard to keep most of the tears inside I will nearly always try to avoid those sort of sad & upsetting things- if I fear it will get me all upset and teary or emotional I will avoid it completely There are things so sad & you can never erase what you have seen from your memory The last time was this morning while watching the sad segment at the start of Jeremy Kyle on ITV at 9-25am today -The whole story was sad but then when the mum described how she had just arrived back home But then Got the phone call from the hospital and dashed back just in time to see and hold the hand of her ** lovely little 17 year old daughter ** 😥Haha I did type the price in that post ![]() But then I edited and . Then deleted bits n bobs - of the many ** little screen Kindle typo errors. ** I must have deleted the amount while fiddling with the long post They were on sale for just £2 - down from £20 😁and I did mention them here a while ago A tip I heard a couple of days ago was to add sugar or lemonade to the water to give flowers a boost as well as changing all the water each ? day ? searing the end with boiling water and shipping the stem ends & grouping flowers in their own groups Such as all the SAME roses together etc Then do the same with any other different type of flowers rather than positioning them all evenly around the display Doing this grouping is the way ..is because they will look ,more like the way . they would be grouped in an actual garden ![]() How do you generally arrange a bunch of assorted flowers ? In groups or in a sort of scattered symmetrical sort of way ? |

I just go with the flow and if it's a mixed bunch, I will mix the flowers up. With the daffs I just snipped the ends off the stalks and shoved them in a vase!
Several times during War and Peace I had to get tissues and get a grip....but it was a lovely ending ![]() I have beautiful afternoon sun,but it's freeeezing!! Is it cold where you are? |

It is an American reality show following the lives of a group of young dancers and their mothers since 2011 in Abby's Studio in Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania
at a very competitive dance school run by a very strict and ambitious dance teacher called Abby Lee Miller, who has been doing this for almost 30 years She expects perfection - and the winning trophies Her choreography and story telling is absolutely amazing / She produces fantastic and award winning ballet jazz lyrical tap contemporary acrobatic and modern routines for the girls ~ who often win the top awards at each National Competition Most of the children are very dedicated and it is hard to get a place in her dance academy The Mums often squabble between themselves - but they all want their children to excel and get the leading dance for any competitions they go to Fancy watching it now ?? |
