I hated the autocorrect on my Hudl, I dislike autocorrect as you end up with lazy mistakes which are fine for email but not when doing company work or tenders

the Backgammon. board looks familiar
but I don't recall ever playing it I bought a VERY handy kitchen item about 2 weeks ago ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() that I am finding soooooo useful - every single day since I bought it @B&M - for about £1-49 ?? It is the very attractive Soft Turquoise coloured - FLAT Salad Colander - I use it every single day !!!! to wash and then display an assortment of Lovely & Colourful Salad items, - to use several times throughout the day Every day - it has ALL these things on it :- An iceberg lettuce - A bunch of celery - about 10 cherry tomatoes a fresh lemon - a cucumber - a carrot - a red capsicum - an onion etc etc etc I will also put mint / or parsley etc - on it - if I have any I love it and can place it away - on the top of the gas stove - or window ledge so it is always ready for when I am out there making a meal of a snack The other item I bought on the same day is also very useful for just about £1-29? A wedge shaped scoop with draining holes - I got 2 - the grey one and the Dark Teal one They are also very useful ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() and a fraction of the price of the identical looking Joseph & Joseph one that I paid about £10 for a few years ago - that I use to scoop out the batch of pre mixed bird foods - to put onto the 2 plastic feeding plates secured onto the feeding poles Have you bought any great items - that you find ****very useful**** & reasonably priced and that you are really glad that you bought it / them ?? |

Bought really nice HUGE posh teacups for V-Day but haven't used mine yet
![]() Our colander gets a lot of use also. My wife spent £40 on a potato peeler which I scoffed at but it's so good, lasted around 15 years so far ![]() Are you better off buying quality or just getting the cheapest and replacing?? |

Yes, I had a salmon salad with hot new potatoes for lunch in a cafe with DIL since we were out and starvin!! It was very nice and not too spensive.
![]() Soup and toast it is for din dins then. Mini twass is learning the hard way about cheap appliances, when she moved into her own place last year many basic things were got, some of which a year later and in need of replacement already. You get what you pays for!! Which do you prefer, roast potatoes or chips? Edit: The 80s! |

(a). 80s
(b). Roast Today I cut open a new bag of chips (quick dinner), put a bulldog clip on it and replaced it in the freezer. Then had to go back, get them out again and put some on the baking tray. What's the daftest thing you did today? |

I'm doing daft things all the time. Today, well, I've been to the swimming pool. Came out and got changed and was dying to go to the loo. I couldn't make out where they were and I wandered around like a lunitic looking for them. In the end I asked a woman who had just come in if she knew where the loos were. She gave me a very strange look and told me that I was standing next to them. I looked to the side of me and there they were, I must have walked by them a dozen times looking for them. She must have thought I was mad.
My diet isn't going well at all, I have my birthday on Sunday so it's a meal out for that and then cupcakes for tea. Then have a friend taking me out for afternoon tea the following week, plus son has day off and wants to take me to pizza hut. Then it's mother's day, then and another meal out. Then it won't be long to Easter. Do you stay stictly on a diet once you start or do you have time off for birthdays etc? |

No, it would be pointless them texting me cos a] I live in the arse end of nowhere when fast food is not delivered and b] my phone has no connection unless I sits it in the window and even then it's random.
