Because it saw a group of dodgy-looking youths coming the other way.

Do you close the toilet door if you're the only one home?

Yes, because one of the dogs just stands there and watches me otherwise. It unnerves me and then I can't go.

Does your toilet roll hang over or under?

Over - it's easier to tear it off.

Do you have a holder for excess paper, or do you keep it in the packaging?

Keep it in the packaging. I have about 24 spare rolls at the moment.

What's the best Marvel film.

edit - I don't know of any Marvel films

Yes Twassy - My pets get most of -all- those meaty things
My freezer is already stacked to the brim - with bargain foods

All the pie products were eaten by the following mornings
All the thick parts of any pastry are totally removed -
then chopped up and all put in a bag for the birds here or at the supermarket

I have ** a big bite ** out of each pasty - pie or slice - and my pets get the rest
This week I discovered that the Chicken Balti slices are most aromatic and scrumptious

I ate a whole hot chicken when I returned home on Saturday night
and I ate >>>>>>>>> most of one on Sunday -
which I have never done before - but with 5 to get eaten
- I needed to make a start on them - the pets got a nice snack
But the next 3 - I sort out will nearly all be for the pets
They pretty well always get to have 90% of meats fish n chicken items

The other 3 are still in my fridge and will be all sorted some time tonight
and the pets will as usual get about 90% of them

The cheeses and bread are fine for some time - especially in this weather
I kept some in the boot of the car as it is dark and cold
I eat a whole bag of salad with each meal usually -
so sometimes if I buy 18 bargain bags - they are all eaten before anything spoils

My chest freezer is **under the counter**
and is about the same size as the washing machine
They are side by side - directly in front of me
My larder fridge is slimmer - but almost the same size too

are yours all a similar size ??

I couldn't see a question.....but how you eat that much salad is beyond me Choccy...you must be very healthy! There is also no way I could eat a whole chicken in one go...unless these chooks are really tiny? Like Poussins?

Aha! Now there is a question My Fridge Freezer is tall and much bigger than the oven, and the washing machine is approx the same size as the oven.

But now your question is obscured, it's not acceptable.

Does ChoccyCarole write the longest posts in thread history

I think I do eat lots of healthy foods
I have had 2 BIG salads already today -
Nearly every single day of the year I have salads for Brekkie lunch and dinner and various snacks in between

The chickens are all the largest ones they sell in the Rotisserie section

What are you having for din dins ??

I'm afraid I can't answer that out of principle just because your post is less than a page long. Oh ok then, Gnocchi.

How clean is your works toilet.

I just have cheap old fashioned ones, Asda's own I assume the weight they show is accurate. Not that I gets on 'em often

I have equally old fashioned plastic kitchen weighing scales.....but they do the job.

I didn't know there was such a thing as a machine that makes soup. I uses a big saucepan and a wooden spoon

Am I archaic?

Edit Nate - yes I would love that
No Twassy
I had the same ones as you till they stopped working properly

I got my Sister a "spenno as you say" blender looking **Cuisinart soup maker** over 5 years ago
she only used it twice - -
and that was only because I took all the veg over when I first gave it to her
It browns cooks and blends and washes it's self
http://johnlewis.scene7.com/is/image...9?$prod_exlrg$

I would always use a pan myself - which is just as good - but I fancied this handy gadget
I only got my Stainless steel **Jug style** Salter one - about a month ago
as It also does ** everything for you ** -
and you can have puree or chunky soup All in about 25 minutes
So I can just pop in the veg & seasonings
then go and do some of my morning chores
and >>>>>>>>>>> the soup is all done !!!!

edit >>>>> posted it quickly as thought my lap top was about to crash

here is the question Tempting ??

Is the soup sounding tempting!! Yes, it does. Just had lengthy phonecall during which I smelt the rice I had put on to cook burning

Now got to rescue me saucepan and start again

Does that often happen to you?

I don't think it will be long

Luckily only happens one once in a while
Burnt rice is sometimes a bit easier to remove especially when it is like a crispy rice basket
Totally black burnt peas makes it so hard to sort out

awwww - I know the feeling of the strong aroma suddenly alerting you to such burnage

wlll you be having a pud of any sort ??

Would you like that dessert?

Did you know if you put a dark brown or black banana in a plastic bag for an hour with dry rice, then take it out and with a hairdryer on cool setting blast the banana it will go back to being yellow again?

Wots it about? Young wimmin??

How very wasteful of you I use elderly overripe narnas in Banana cake, dead easy to make, then you never waste one. I have two narnas lined up for a cake currently.....

Or, you can peel, wrap in foil, stick chunks of black choc into the narna and bake in the oven for 15 mins. Lovely pudding

Will you bin that black banana next time????
