They're here. Or is that poltergeists?

I watched the new X-Files the other day and laughed my head off. Have you seen the new series?

No, I gave up when they stopped treating the conspiracy theorists (The Lone Gunmen) as decent characters

No ta, I find the chocolate bit in the middle a bit powdery and weird tasting....

The other night's episode was hilarious! Loved it

Ever seen a UFO?

I've accidentally deleted long posts, which is very annoying, and usually never entirely sure what I did to delete them!! Doesn't happen often thank goodness.

Glorious sun today, have you or are you going out in it?

I shall probably be going on my fine-weather walk later on.

Do you find that excuses are never feeble when it comes to avoiding or delaying exercise?

I don't believe in exercise

Did you know they think light exercise is better for asthma than any kind of inhaler??

Doesn't surprise me....a bit of light exercise does us all a power of good! I don't believe in jogging, going to the gym or any of that malarkey though.

The first bee of the year just came down my chimbley....I hope they don't try to nest build yet, I will be lighting the fire nightly for at least a few more months! Daft critturs.

What's for lunch? I am thinking home made guacamole on toast

I hope that's not a euphemism.

Garlic and chilli noodles for lunch.

Should I drink this whole pint of milk in one go.

Do hours at work pass more quickly with a little bit of rudery thrown in?

It gets me through the day.

I'm trying to give up sexual innuendos but it's so hard.

What would you find difficult to give up.

I'm trying to work out if that's a euphemism!! I don't have a drawer, I just have one of those plastic cutlery inserts on the shelf in the larder with a tea towel over it. Tis a rather old fashioned kitchen

Fancy a hot cross bun? And no, that isn't either....

I like all types of buns.

Do you think we will find innuendo in every post in this thread today.

If you look hard - yes yes yes

I have started drinking Morrison's Decaff tea this week

Do you drink much caffeine each day ?

Not really, the odd soft drink and the odd coffee but as I have an allergic reaction to caffeine (increased anxiety and palpitations) I try to avoid it.

Is decaffeinated coffee not a vile substance pushed on us by these 'healthy living' do-gooders??

Not really
I would say it was to be a good option - if you want to avoid caffeine and it's bad effects
I don't drink it myself - but I avoid coffee only because it began to affect me in a bad way

I have very straight hair when it is long - but a slight wave it is short
Have you got very straight hair ??

It does get straighter the longer it is but there is still a kink. It's long currently and tbh it is easier to manage when long....just bung it in a hair tie and leave it there!

I don't have much caffeine. Gave up on instant coffee at new year and not drunk one since. I have real coffee occasionally when out and its a proper, decent one, and two cups of Yorkshire brew per day. Rest of the time it is fruit or herb teas and water. So basically, two caffeinated drinks most days.

Really lovely late afternoon sun pouring in.....do you feel yourself getting excited for longer, lighter evenings on the way?

Dunno about excitement; more pleasant anticipation.

When sitting outside with a cup of coffee and a book are you a shade-seeking or sun-loving person?

Depends on the time of year. In Spring and Autumn, I like a bit of sun, but in the summer months I prefer at least partial shade.

Are you a sunbather?

Oh yes, nothing beats sunbathing and a good book

Carole - I wish I had straight hair! My hair is a bit wavy but not curly. Not straight though

Ever use hair straighteners??

I used to all the time, to tame it. What a lot of bother.....and if it got damp it just poinged wherever it wanted anyhow. Not touched the straighteners since living here

Favourite African dish?

Hot pepper soup

There is an awesome Ghanaian rice dish which isn't anything like Jollof rice and sadly I can't find the recipe online.

You??
