Oh yes Even got some Toblerone left over from Saturnalia

twass - No. Hershey and Nestlé share copyright to recipes over different regions... some UK stuff that should be Hershey is made by Nestlé and Hershey make Kit-Kat in the US iirc. It's a complicated legal deal by two separate companies

Do you have an IQ that could join Mensa??

No....mine is around 127 so not high enough. However, my niece is in Mensa and she's frankly as boring as they come. I would rather be unusual and less intelligent

Which would you choose?

The latter! I'm not even sure what the cut off for mensa is but I scored higher than that last time I was tested

Practising such tests helps a lot

Did you stand out in school??

Certainly as being different from most of them which was something I encouraged. I never wanted to be like the popular kids. And I am very happy that my kids were exactly the same.

Academically the teachers wanted to put me into a higher class but I begged to be allowed to stay with my pals in the lower stream

Were you in with the popular kids?

No. I was in the highest stream but moved schools too often to stay there. Being offered the chance to be top stream was something I would have done anything for

How good is Event Horizon??

Have not seen it

At nearly all my schools there were no popular or unpopular kids = we were all just similar kids
at secondary school in the UK I was always in the top stream class [ L ]
[ I often came 6th out of the whole year ]

I became a member of Mensa sometime in the early 90's Nate
My IQ got a score of 157 on my first test
I think I got 155 on my Supervised / Cattell official test

Do you do much online grocery shopping ??

I've never online grocery shopped....I'd be too worried about them substituting loads of things I didn't want....plus, you don't get the yellow sticker items that way!

Gelato or ice cream?

ice cream for me
Edit - that sounds like a good thing to clamp down on on FB

I used a £15 off voucher on 25th
Will get £15 off a delivery coming tomorrow night
and have another £15 off voucher - I will use soon after that
£45 Off is good incentive for me to place 3 orders

You can select to have NO substitutes on any products you choose
and select if you want to have - or not have bags etc

I am called a VIP @ Sainsbury's since 2003 or 2004
and you can place orders for family or friends as a lovely surprise / helpful / gift

If you were offered a good money off voucher - would you ever give it a go ?

I'd worry a lot more if I lived in the US tbh!!

I seriously wonder about the folks that would vote for Trump. How could ANYONE think he'd make a good President?

Offer them hope, offer them solutions. Be seen to do nothing. It is a common misnomer that Trump is the Republican's fault when the Democrats caused his success as much as social media

Betty Lou Gerson or Glenn Close??

Sanders.. can you not feel the Bern??

I'd love to see him as POTUS

Trident?? Against.

Don't you think there are bigger issues to discuss though?? Government cuts?? EU vote??

What are the political issues that matter to you most?? Do all lives matter??

Yes, all lives matter and for that reason Trident will always be up there amongst the most important political issues for me. I am against, of course.

Which is the better film, Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction?

Apocalypse Now

twass - Reservoir Dogs

“Black Lives Matter, to use an analogy, is like if there was a subdivision and a house was on fire, the fire department wouldn’t show up and start putting water on all the houses because All Houses Matter. They would show up, and they would turn their water on the house that was burning because that’s the house that needs help the most.”

I remember it being scary but not much else about it I'm afraid....

Does that mean it can't have been all that good or I would have remembered more about it?

Dunno, been years since I've seen it but caught a bit on the TV and now I'm mad keen to rewatch it as I have it on DVD

Well when you think that you could define a disability as slight hearing loss, slight visual impairment, a small physical impairment etc as well as the more obvious disabilties then yes and it could be even higher than a fifth. I have very short sight but I don't consider it a disability cos I can see OK with glasses or contact lenses. But some might say they had a disability I guess.

Then there are the whole spectrum of mental health issues, some of which can be very disabling, but are mainly invisible to other people. Depends on how you view it.

Have you ever witnessed an argument regards people using disabled bays? I once saw a situation with one driver accusing another of not being disabled
