I've loved Maltesers all my life until the last year or so when I increasingly find milk chocolate in any form too sickly and creamy. Why don't they make DARKteasers??
silentNate
28-02-2016
OoooooOooo... I'd try them

Will you be watching the Oscars tonight??
twassington
28-02-2016
Nah. I am done with award ceremonies.

I once had a Darklerone and that was yumtious....not seen one in yonks though!! Mini twass and I scoffed a load of darkolate last night and as I don't usually have much sugar I had a mini Darkar rush

The one sort of milk choc I still would is Marmiteolate. But ohhhh if they made Darkiteolate.........*dribbles*

What choc bar would you like to see a dark version of?
ChoccyCarole

I have always enjoyed Cadbury's fruit and nut
That would be fabulous if they made it with dark choccy

Your DarkMaltesers would be very good Twassy

I made a jug of veg soup **yesterday morning**
I had also added less than half of a home dried small red chilli which was made the soup way too hot
I had to try adding other things to make it OK to drink - So I added 5 of H&B's dried apricots & a scoop of their dried cranberries
then half a sweet crunchy apple and almost a full tin of red kidney beans in a sweet chilli sauce

Just Now - I added a full pack of those [ H&B'S ] low cal slim noodles to one of the 3 big bowls of this soup Which I am sipping right now - it still tastes a bit fiery hot

What have you eaten today ??

Maltesers

Which film will win the Best Picture at the Oscars??
twassington
28-02-2016
I'm guessing The Revenant, be nice if it was Mad Max though!

Mini twass and I just had nut roast, parsnips, roast spuds, carrots, broccoli and cauli cheese and we are STUFFED!!!!!!

There is no such thing as too hot, Choccy!!!

Was it a ghost chilli?
silentNate
28-02-2016
I doubt it. That's the problem with the chillies we buy round here though; some are mild and some are scorching but they vary from chilli to chilli

I'm surprised Mad Max was one of the nominee twass!

I'm really hoping The Big Short wins it I can't see the Academy Awards being shown on the TV this year

Have you seen the film Spike Island??
twassington
28-02-2016
I haven't......there are so many fillums I never gets to see!!

Did you see Father Jack has died? Was it DRRRIINK or GURRRLLS???

28-02-2016
^ I saw it - as a BBC News app push notification on my phone.

What was the last non-call push notification you got?
twassington
28-02-2016
I don't get stuff on the phone, just trendings on FB.

Last thing that trended was poor old Father Jack Hackett

Straight to hell with all the other catholic priests?
silentNate
28-02-2016
Erm, as I do not have internet on my phone do not get such notifications

Have you read any of Dame Janet Smith's report into the BBC??

I have read some, not by any means all, of it. And very grim reading it makes

The references to "the culture of the time" seem almost like an excuse for these behaviours Surely it was perfectly evident such behaviour was at the very least inappropriate, and in fact indecent, regardless of the time?
silentNate
28-02-2016
It's more about the 'management culture' where everyone assumed they knew the rumours whereas managers said they had not heard anything or said they had no evidence presented to them. Personally I think a lot of them were, as the report states, 'protecting The Talent'

Did you watch TotP as a wee kidder??
twassington
28-02-2016
Certainly did, and I never liked Savile. There was always something unpleasant about him. I felt exactly the same about Squiff Pilchard even as a small child.

However I was very surprised when the shit hit the fan regards Rolf Harris.....he always seemed genuine and nice

How many more perves are hiding away?
silentNate
28-02-2016
Plenty more I'm sure, all in plain sight

I doubt there is much to the Cliff Richard allegation as no-one else has come forward. It just seems unlikely to me but then we await the CPS pulling their finger out and making a decision on the basis of the evidence

Are The Flaming Lips any good??
twassington
28-02-2016
I quite liked them back in the day.....without being a huge fan.

Are you any good at assembling flat pack furniture?
silentNate
28-02-2016
I'm competent. Had trouble putting an office chair together but it was unusual and basically a piece of rubbish!

Last flat-pack stuff you put together??
twassington
28-02-2016
My computer chair about seven years ago. Did it all by myself It only took about ...................................four hours

Luckily when I moved here my son put my bed together

Fancy some hummus on toast?
silentNate
28-02-2016
Yeah, I'm starving

Ever make your own hummous??
twassington
28-02-2016
I always used to, it's easy enough....but laziness has meant the pot I currently have came from the supermarket

I do always make my own guacamole though, and salsa. I've never tried making tsatsiki....have you?
silentNate
28-02-2016
Tzatziki?? I've made my own and it is way nicer than the shop stuff. You have to be careful with adding mint though

How hot is your salsa?? I left a chopping board unusable after making salsa
twassington
28-02-2016
Four big tomatoes, two chillies, two garlic cloves, half a red onion, slug of olive oil hot.

Was it a wooden chopping board?
tanstaafl
28-02-2016
Mine's polished granite. Sainsbury's. £10. Years old. And almost certainly death to the edges of my knives.

Do you still own a hand whisk?
silentNate
28-02-2016
Yeah

twass - Yes it was a wooden board; had some lovely chilli-flavoured marmalade & pb sarnies afterwards!

Favourite comic book character??
farmer bob

Roger Mellie
