During the floods in January. I helped with the local relief efforts here up north.

Is £110 too much for a pair of wellies?

Yes

Would you be prepared to pay tax on your takeaway coffee from the likes of costa or starbucks
silentNate
18-03-2016
Paying for the cup?? I'd carry my own, wouldn't you??
Picto
18-03-2016
I would just ask them to pour the coffee directly into my mouth from the machine.

Do you ever have syrups in your coffee?
silentNate
18-03-2016
Occasionally have hazelnut syrup but if having espresso then I had only a touch of sugar

How often do you drink coffee??
farmer bob
18-03-2016
Every day. Can't get enough of it

18-03-2016
Instant. I've got a Tassimo machine but I mainly use that for the lovely hot chocolate.

Fresh ground coffee or instant??
silentNate

As if!

I've been very norty. I feel sure punishment awaits. I saw Butterfinger Peanut Butter cups in B&M Bargains. Yes, yes, I know they are made by Nestle. But they sang the buy me eat me song and I was lost.

Do you hear that song in food shops?

Fortunately, like Ulysses' men, I have wax in my ears.

Anyone remember Kunzle Cakes?
twassington
18-03-2016
Ooh yes, being an old fossil like you I sure do.

Now wait for Nate to make out he has no idea what they are

I just had three fish fingers in a toasted ciabatta roll with cheese, tomato, mayo and lettuce......phwoar!!!!

Jealous?
silentNate
18-03-2016

No idea what Kunzle Cakes were btw

If the Butterfingers were imported and made by Hershey they are fine

farmer bob
18-03-2016
Yes. It's in the shed.

Ever re-waxed a waxed jacket??
tanstaafl
18-03-2016
No. I do have a waxed jacket that I bought at the Northumberland County Show at Corbridge in the 90s, but as I only drag it out when the weather is pretty bad it's still serviceable.

Do you own an bush hat?
farmer bob
18-03-2016
Sadly not.

Ever watch "The Bush Tucker Man" ??
ChoccyCarole

No
and no to the Hat
I encouraged my Sis to buy a lovely one several years ago - among several other fabulous items - Supper Glam shoes etc etc

@4pm Yesterday was out 6 hours
I had gone out to collect my 2 new'ish pet blankies from the vets as they had been washed there by mistake
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> then we
went to the shops

- I got so lucky again last night @ M&S and Morrisons -
Got umpteen bargains as **Always**
Such as a large M&S party sandwich platter - Was £18-99 - I paid just £5-55
and a Bun Platter for £3 - also bargain Sushi platters Fab seeded bread buns -
prosciutto di parma - Lots of assorted Chillis etc etc
There were loads of The Large Buffet sani platters there at about 7-30pm last night

Then got even more amazing Bargains at Morrisons - Got about £50 of shopping for less than £4 -
ALL These 30 items were between 4p & 10p at 8-30pm last night
I got A Large Gammon joint for 10p - Lots of Indian meals
etc etc
3 x Raspberry sponge puds etc for 10p each
Most of the 30 items were Originally £4 or more -

On return home @10pm I saw my friend's hubby come out and stood with Milo
at his gate - over the road - so I dashed over and gave them 2 Family sized Raspberry Sponge Puds

I had also returned my Decor 2600 phone - given a refund :- voucher to use within 3 years
I took Rosie for a walk then Went back in and got a **Salter Spiralizer** - for just £14-99 with part of the refund
Used it this morning and it is good

Have you got one or Would you get one ??
silentNate
18-03-2016
No. Are they easy to wash??
ChoccyCarole
18-03-2016
Very easy

The only area that makes them look like they have even been used
it at the little outlet where the spirals come out

I had half a Zucchini and half a Carrot - made into spirals this morning
Griddled and sizzled those with half a pack of 9p Mushrooms

With one of the 10p - bargain Indian Takeaway Style Korma Pilau rice ready meals
with a 9p bag of Caesar salad -

Followed by umpteen party buffet sanis and lush cute party buffet buns

I had started off well by having a tall Nutribullet drink - made with Half a pear
from my 99p - / £4 Gift box of Fruits
with maybe a pint of water

What did/ you have ??
twassington
18-03-2016
Fish finger in roll as mentioned previously, one slice toast and nutty butter, one toasted hot cross bun, one apple, one Butterfinger peanut butter cup

Later on as I have eggs needing to be used, it will be a LOT of scrambled egg with mushrooms and tomatoes on toast.

What is the last thing you climbed?
