He's a sneaky conniving git I wouldn't trust with anything. Tbh I think he has overplayed his hand so much in past years that no person with any shred of conscience would vote him in as PM. Not that Cameron is any better morally or in any other respect and astonishingly enough, British people voted for him It was all about Brexit, IDS resignation, and his own agenda. I hope it backfires on him massively

In the meantime, mayhem amongst the Tories, so its all good!!

I will probably have done the lot by early evening Do you prefer the GOT books, or televised version?

No, almost none. I don't believe in throwing stuff away unless it's inedible

The whole Trump regime is scary I just don't see how anyone with half a brain would vote for the man He's clearly a psycopath

Rock cakes in the oven.....fancy one?

mmmmmmmmmmmm yes please

I rarely ever waste any foods - & I don't go by ** sell by dates ** etc

All that I may not be able to eat are some soft fruits or veg that has gone a bit squishy
The veg will end up in the compost bin - & - the soft fruits end up mixed into the bird seed and put onto the bird tables for the birds -

Very sunny mild day so far
No need for hottie bottles / yet etc
Same for you ??

Disney's Beauty and the Beast

It's warmed up lots here, although I still have four layers on, the outer one being a thick fleece. Picked some Spring flowers from the garden and hedgerows including primrose, violet, dandelion, daisy, forget me nots, grape hyacinth. Ostara altar material!

I ate three rock buns already.....quick, will you help me out before I explode??

Love both! But as hot cross buns are not home made by me, I would go for home made cos I know what's in 'em.

Time for another GOT??

I don't think so......

Only two episodes left.....epic battle north of the Wall, the giant was awesome!!

Now very different from the books... almost no similarities at all I would still encourage you to read the books. So much more in them.

If you could be any of the characters from GOT, who would you be?

Sorry but I have never watched this series - apart from seeing an advert of TV today for the box set
It did look amazing from the 30? seconds - were they showed loads of spectacular fantasy type film footage

Do you read books - more often in :-
daylight hours - evening hours - or in bed ??

I'm more of a daylight reader myself. I rarely read in bed, I think this is a hangover from a time in my twenties I was bed bound for seven weeks. It kind of puts you off eating in bed, watching telly in bed or doing anything other than kipping!!! I wake up, I get up about 30 seconds later

As a child my father always brought my mother and I a cup of tea in bed first thing in the morning. I had a plastic blue and white mug I remember well. Can you remember plates, cups or cutlery you had as a small child?

I have six of most things and three [non matching] cereal bowls and a few cups and saucers. About 20 assorted mugs of different sorts. And my mother's old best cutlery set.

If eight peeps came to dinner would I be stuffed?

yes yes yes to yoghurts

haha Twassy

You have just reminded me of what used to happen in NZ
it was a common practice to be invited to a party
and for you to be asked to .................. Bring a Plate
[ I think this actually meant to bring a plate - with the food - that you would be eating yourself at the party ]

I recall some of the regular plates bowls and glasses
that I used as a child from around the ages of 10 to 14

My fave in the UK was a large shallow blue bowl that I used for cereals
I would like to put in every cereal that we had - in this one bowl - then add milk and sugar and then eat them
I would usually end up having some rice rice crispies cornflakes & sugar puffs
and maybe a weetibix

What were your fave / or most often eaten cereals as a child ?

Rice Krispies or Op pops as I called them

I also had a bit of a thing for my mother's All Bran!!

One more episode! I am reeling from the actions of Stannis and the dragon flying antics of Daenerys

No sign of Bran this series ......speaking of Bran ^^

What's for dinner?

Crikey It makes my small unadventurous roasty din dins with carrots and broccoli, roast spuds and a nut cutlet seem very paltry indeed You make some very exotic creations Choccy!!

I did make guacamole for lunch and scoffed it with big chunks of hot toast Luckily I am not seeing another living soul today as my raw garlic, raw onion and chilli breath after that would likely knock them over

When did you last eat garlic?
