A friend works as a hairdresser and he gave it a trim last year... it just doesn't grow

Football or rugby??
twassington
21-03-2016
Rugby, only cos the players look more manly and have nicer thighs

You should try massaging your scalp with coconut oil. I bet it would grow then I'd be tripping over mine if I started doing that

Are you a walking encyclopaedia of hippie remedies?
Picto
21-03-2016
Nate has hippie remedies and Twass has her cauldron.

What does eye of newt and toe of frog cure?
silentNate
21-03-2016
It doesn't cure anything, in the Scottish play they are used to conjure spirits

Have you seen Shakespeare's plays at the theatre??
twassington
21-03-2016
Some of them, yes. A Midsummer Night's Dream, Hamlet, MacBeth, and Coriolanus. Nearly fell asleep during the latter....but it was an A level text

MacBeth is actually my favourite and always has been. Roman Polanski's film version of it was brilliant!

Ever seen that version?
silentNate
21-03-2016
Sadly not

Have you seen Kenneth Branagh as Hamlet??
twassington
21-03-2016
No, I imagine he'd be good....

Putting off going to the cat shop. Although I may find bargains in there during the visit.

Do you find some of your friends act a little weird around the full moon?
tanstaafl
21-03-2016
Only if there's hair on their palms.

Do you find the phrase "gibbous moon" mildly amusing?
twassington
21-03-2016
Indeed, I always imagine a gibbon swinging across a moon when I read that

Can you do the funky gibbon?
silentNate
21-03-2016
Of course, I loved The Goodies

"Gibbous moon" - depends how you pronounce it

Last time you ate chips??
twassington
21-03-2016
Last week at Legends of Rock, lovely cod and chips with mushy peas

Being halfway oop north, they offered gravy on the chips. Being southern, I was like noooo but all our northern pals drenched their chips in gravy, vinegar etc. I like mine crisp and dry.

Wet and squelchy or crisp and dry?
Picto
21-03-2016
Crisp and dry is for southern softies only.

Excluding fish, what is the next best accompaniment for chippy chips
twassington
21-03-2016
Eggs. Fried eggs and chippy chips are the most divine combo!!!

Not pies. Pies belong with mash and licquor. It's a London thing

Pies or Eggs?
Picto
21-03-2016
My dad originally comes from Wigan so it's obviously pies.

What's the best pie filling.
silentNate

When in the month do you get paid?
silentNate
21-03-2016
24th of this month then 15th of the next

Ever work more than one job??
twassington
21-03-2016
Not unless you count two part time ones. Not a full time and another as well.

Got a really nice wind chime for frees at the cat shop! They just wanted rid of it. Yippee Also was given a Marmite Yeaster Egg from son and DIL!

Jealous?
silentNate
21-03-2016
Yes

I'm gonna get cheap eggs come next week then they slash the price... aren't you??
twassington
21-03-2016
Quite possibly yes Will they slash 'em on Tuesday morning?

Do you use a steering lock on you car = ?? =

Non car drivers - When did you last read a paper newspaper ??
silentNate
21-03-2016
Today, I read the Evening Standard. What a crappy right-wing rag it is

Favourite paper??
twassington
21-03-2016
The local freebie one. I lights the fire with it

I've never owned a steering lock thingy, Choccy.

Most of the time I don't bother locking the car, never mind the steering wheel! One of the joys of living off the beaten track.

Did you know most of Cadbury chocolate is made in Poland now?
silentNate
21-03-2016
Yes, we discussed this on the thread when it was revealed that Turkish Delight was being withdrawn from sale while production was moved to Poland

Dairy Milk doesn't taste as nice as it used to, am I right??
twassington
21-03-2016
I couldn't tell you, I no longer eat milk chocolate. Too sweet and bland now I am hooked on the dark stuff
