How can you hate something you have never tasted??
twassington
25-03-2016
Indeed, that seems an odd concept. Especially as Marmite is GAWJUS! I was brought up on it

I've never put it on a burger but I totally would! What would you NOT put Marmite on?

tanstaafl
26-03-2016
Last Monday. Remains of Sunday's chicken converted into a nourishing chicken soup.

Does anyone remember Monday fry-ups of Sunday's meat and 2 veg dinner?
twassington
26-03-2016
It was cold meat, salad and boiled spuds in our house. I dreaded Mondays To have it fried up sounds much better!

Occasionally it was cold meat and bubble and squeak but only if veg had been left over which generally they weren't.....

Are you back in the winter woollens today?

For lunch I will be getting a big Yummy Sunday Roast dinner off my friend -
as I do every Sunday [ Usually 50 weeks of the year - for about 10 or more years ]
unless they are away on their holidays

Yes - I am wearing 3 warm tops and all the other stuff
= a fluffy scarf hand wrist warmers some hotties and a big fluffy blankie

My last leftovers have been this week - as I have extended my leftovers - the next day to recreate a big Spicy Wokky Combo to last me all day - and hopefully stay close to the allowed 1-200 calories
No actually worn any summery clothing yet anyway
The best has been not needing to wear my 3rd layer which is a zip up fleece top

Nate - My lap top does not get updates anymore
since I had the repair done back in February -
when everything was removed and the guy got it going again by using Driver ReViver
Last night this lap top has started to crash the way it did back in January
It is a big surprise that it is working this morning - for now anyway

I bought 3 bags of [ assorted ] fresh Chillies just lately - [ each bag was a bargain ]
I must have about 80 glossy thin / plump green and big and small red ones in the house
as well as some that had dried out from earlier purchases
I also have about 5 from a chilli plant that I have planted in a tub in my front sun catching garden ----------------- making a total of about 80

How many fresh ones do you have ??
silentNate
26-03-2016
Ours go straight into the freezer but I need to get more

Only 20 left

Having sarnie for lunch depending on bread.

Got dips about to expire though

1000 Island or Cheese & Chive dip??
hooter
26-03-2016
cheese and chives

want some of those cheese straws wiv it?
silentNate
26-03-2016
Oh go on!! Last time you made cheese straws yourself??
ChoccyCarole
26-03-2016
I have never made cheese straws

Do you have a Red postal box within walking distance to where you live ??
tanstaafl
26-03-2016
At least four, probably more if I were more observant. I generally pass two on my daily walk.

Do you remember the American saying, "Better dead than red"?
EStaffs90
26-03-2016
Nope.

If you have any time pieces (ooh, get me, "time pieces") that need to be changed manually, do you do it before you go to sleep or afterwards?
twassington
26-03-2016
Afterwards, just have my mum's old wall clock to alter.

We had the most fabulous coffees and chocolate fudge cake with ice cream out!

Had any indulgencies today?
