Dunno, I'm as confuse as you

Are you often confused??
ChoccyCarole
31-03-2016
Not that I am aware of

yes I do like the Two Ronnie's

Hope the pain eases soon Nate

I use my slim dishwasher beside the sink to store hottie bottles
new packs of kitchen sponges n scourers -Jay cloths and packs of white dishcloths
A few bottles of new washing up liquids -
A few packs of new tea towels - New packs of clothes pegs and all stuff like that

I left 2 of my almost identical long grey hoodie dressing gowns out for about -
- -8 weeks - during a very harsh winter in about 2006
I could watch them both - all day long - from where I am sitting now
- flapping about - in various stages of Wetness
- then stiff with frost
- then blown & Flapping madly in the gales
until one day - the poor little peggies could not hold tight any longer
-- one peg was valiant - for a few days -
but another huge gust put an end to that and I saw one dressing gown suddenly getting whipped off the line and --------> up and over my back fence
Luckily the next day - I went down to the end of the garden over the crunchy frosty grass
in search of it - and was very relieved to see it there & only about 3 feet away -
caught on a bramble bush
l discovered that on my tippy toes - I could reach over the 6' fence and snag it back - using the very long wooden clothes pole - with the little scoopy bit at the end -
It was stiff with a layer of frost - but otherwise completely OK - -
I brought them both in that day - both dry and crisp

I still wear these very cosy long grey fleece durable hoodie dressing gowns - pretty much every day in winter - since I bought them maybe in 2003
They still look like new

I have been out hanging the washing out - in the sun - then playing with Rosie with her ball Came in at 5-45pm and @6pm I had some yummy strawberry jelly from the fridge
topped with fresh pineapple and real squirty cream
What was the last cold summery thing that you ate - ??

It is still bright an sunny here @ 7-05pm

Ice cream with pain at that pun.

Did you ever bite off the end and suck the ice cream out?
silentNate
31-03-2016
Always my fave way to eat ice cream

Excited for a new Beyonce album??

Gimme a break

Just been fed a lovely dinner by my son. Loads of roasted veg, chicken and spuds. DIL had oven chips and crispy pancakes from the freezer. She is weird

Food with multicolours or beige food?
silentNate
31-03-2016
Multicolours! Just had a lovely tuna salad

Ever read the book Soft by Rupert Thomson?? I think you would get a really kick out of it
ChoccyCarole
31-03-2016
no Nate - but I will check it out
mmmm multicolours

Do you think you will be going to bed - before midnight ??
silentNate
31-03-2016
Probably around 02:00

Are you an early riser or a night owl??
twassington
31-03-2016
I will, must be up early as off to get the London train in the morning. Seeing the Kast off Kinks tomorrow night, and then out on the Sat again [cinema] - then to see the grandkids and my eldest for a couple of days

Having Wiki'd Soft, it certainly is a very different sort of book! I shall have to look out for it.

Do you still use a library?
silentNate
31-03-2016
Ours still exists but I have lost my library card

Do you??
twassington
31-03-2016
Occasionally yes. Locally we have a mobile library but the van is tiny.....supposing it's full of Barbara Cartland novels

My library card is still for Norf London and when I visit mini twass I go in the library there.

Do you know how to do yoga?
silentNate
31-03-2016
Nope. I've known a couple of yoga teachers though and remain unconvinced

Would yoga help my hip pain??
twassington
31-03-2016
It may do with a little gentle stretching. Is it arthritis? Will you need a new hip like my friend? Having nursed her through that, it's pretty brutal but it did fix the problem.
farmer bob
31-03-2016
I've no idea. Only Nate can answer that.
I do get joint pain though

Ever had the 'Duke of Argyll's'???
silentNate
31-03-2016
I know the pub on Brewer Street well

twass - Too young for a new hip, them things only last 15 - 20 years and I plan to outlive you

Do you worry about needing surgery??
twassington
31-03-2016
No. If I need it I'll worry when it happens.

My friend was only 43 when she was told she would need a new hip, and 45 when they did it by which time she could only manage on crutches and a cocktail of painkillers. Now at 46 the other one's going and a second op needed. Both may well need re-doing in her 70s

I get very occasional hip pain but only slight, and it is due to the duff foot and one leg doing most of the work. Although the duff foot has behaved for five months now due to Flexisec....the miracle stuff! Ever tried it?
silentNate
31-03-2016
Nope, I'm sure you've brought it up before though!

Weirdest newsstory you saw lately??

Good news Sleepy. I remember taking my pops for an endoscopy and he was in a terrible state afterwards

I used to work on an endoscopy unit as a student actually

Will you be celebrating this weekend??
twassington
01-04-2016
I'm sure Sleeps will celebrate in true Scottish style! Good news Sleeps, Always a worry when things like that happen.

Been a heavy frost overnight......this is cos I took one of my duvets off the bed, wasn't it???
silentNate
01-04-2016
It has been really mild here, perhaps the gods are angry with you!!

Clear skies where you are??
twassington
01-04-2016
Beautiful clear skies, they were last night too....all the stars were visible There will be shooting stars throughout April

Planning any April Fool pranks?
silentNate
01-04-2016
No. I find them tiresome and unbecoming

The thread for media April Fools in GD is mildly entertaining though, Olivia Coleman would make a great Jane Bond!

Are you??
