Only the usual high jinks I get up to on this day most years

I should be back on Tuesday or late Monday. You can post your little fingers out in the meantime

@About 3pm yesterday afternoon - I started A large wash load of my clothes - in my washing machine - mostly my comfy home clothing -
It was bright warm and sunny all day long > till soon before dusk
so all the washing was dry approximately within an hour

[Edit ]
I have washed some dishes etc this morning - while making some yummy spicy Veggie Foods in my Big wokky - to eat during today -
to have with A full pack each of Shrimp Yum Yum & slim spaghetti Noodles which I also cooked this morning

This Morning started today @10-30am with the Very Sad news that Denise Robertson has died /\ after her short 6 week battle with Pancreatic Cancer - aged 83
Since 10-30am - This Morning is doing a really wonderful show of Special Memories of her life
The whole show today has been a great tribute
Remembering what a wonderfully caring and very funny lady she was

Over the years - Did you see much of the wonderful Denise Robertson
on various TV shows ??

I'm afraid that I've never heard of her.

Have you reached the age where increasing numbers of celebrities younger than you are dying?

No -but they look very scary
Have seen several VT's of - the correct safety procedures -
and what happens if you :->>>>>>>>>>>>> throw water over it
or if someones removes the damp cloth tea towel too soon -
which should be placed completely over the top of the pan - and not removed !!!!
The heat source on the cooker should also be turned off

Have you experienced any scary chip pan fires ??

Leaving aside the fact that a non-scary chip pan fire is a bit of an oxymoron , yes, I've been there. While I stood there quietly panicking Mrs T told me to wet a tea towel and put it over the flaming pan. As I don't now look like something from the Phantom of the Opera I was obviously successful!

Have you given in to laziness and now use oven chips?

I was taken out for prawn green curry and a yummy creamy Asian pud by my friend

We're out tonight so no more food will be necessary.

Cats or wabbits?

Every couple of months, we get fish & chips at work so I rarely bother tbh

Do you get a wally, gravy or mushy peas with your fish & chips??
