No, but we set one off that crashed into the window of the house opposite once

Used to love the variety boxes as a child, I would spend the nights before November 5th examining them all and reading the instructions!

Remember Jumping Jacks?

I don't think so, at least I hope I haven't. I lost £3 once that I must have dropped. I was in a shop waiting to buy something and had the money in my hands and when I got to the counter, I was missing £3. I looked all around and it was nowhere to be seen, so I can only imagine that I had somehow dropped the notes (it was £1 notes then) and someone had dived in quickly and picked them up. I was only young at the time and £3 was quite a lot of money and I was so upset about it at the time.

Have you ever found anything but not been able to leave it anywhere for the owner to claim it back?

Not that I remember. I've been involved in returning purses, mobile phones and all kinds of jackets after parties and it is a joyless thing

Do you have a safe or piggy bank??

Piggy bank. Not got much to put in it though!

Have you ever bought anything and then left it somewhere so that it got lost?

I once bought some presents to take back from a holiday and then waited for a bus back to the hotel I was staying at. I was sitting on a seat waiting and then when the bus came along, got up quickly taking my handbag with me and leaving the bag of presents behind. Needless to say, it had gone when I went back so someone got a bag of goodies for free.

I once bought a coffee and a sandwich while waiting for a train, sat waiting for the train then boarded it and left my drink and lunch on the bench

Would you consider a holiday in Sharm El Sheikh now?

No and I think you'd be bonkers to do so quite frankly.

I wouldn't go back to Turkey either unless the situation in the middle east improves. Although we had a fab and safe holiday I was concerned before we left

What are you up to today?

I'd quite like to be someone's pampered pet, but then there is lure of the wild....maybe I'd be an intelligent corvid

Iceland are apparently doing frozen Lobster thermidor this Christmas! Would you try one?

I don't really have a favourite as I am not really knowledgable about cars. Our Mazda has done us very well and is the second one we've had, so I'd probably go for that.

Have you got any more holiday or breaks away planned for this year?

Well this year I seem to have done rather well in the holiday department. Makes up for many years of not having one at all. Between 2007 and 2010 had nothing at all, Splint and I had four days in Norway in 2010, then I grabbed the odd festival here and there and had a couple of cheapo hols with mini twass from 2011 on.

I'll be orf to London in about an hour and not back til Thursday Not exactly a holiday but still away from home, a change of scenery is always good Friends are currently tempting me with another festival in February.....already doing one the beginning of March Obviously cheap as chips as I don't do the spenno ones.

Cat business of the day is DONE. Now roll on the FUN THe guy tonight is Katie Hopkins. Good choice?

Yes, I am reading The Midwife's Sister by Christine Worth, who is the sister of Jennifer Worth who wrote the Midwife series of books. It is about their childhood and life as nurses etc. It is very good. They had a very hard and sad childhood and Jennifer Worth was a bit strange in a lot of ways as she got older. Christine Worth became a sculpturess and made the sculpture of the swans in Stratford Upon Avon.

As to holidays, we are going to the Isle of Wight for five days at the beginning of December for a turkey and tinsel break.

Are you reading anything just now?
