At least they found the child fairly quickly.

What motive would those girls have had for taking the little girl?
silentNate
15-04-2016
It might not have been evil intent, they may have just wanted to play. I certainly hope so!

Do you ever fear losing your faith in humanity??
Picto
15-04-2016
I get close sometimes but when I do, I enter 'Chatter' and my faith is restored.

There are some decent people who post in Chatter, do you agree?
silentNate

Not all of us Picto... some of us are downright indecent

Do you like Aphex Twin??
twassington
15-04-2016
Love a bit of the mighty Aphex! Time to float away......

I just went up to the bluebell woods. If you could translate that into music, that is how it would sound

How many slices of bread do you eat a day on average?
ChoccyCarole
15-04-2016
I could eat a whole Large 800g loaf - or more every day -

but because I aim to eat less calories .......... these days and nights
I would say I try to only eat 500g worth of bread most days
which is the equivalent to more than half of the Larger 800g Loaves

Today
Since 11am today :-
I have already had half a 500g Bloomer loaf for breakfast
As well as :-
A big bowl of spag bol made with a 480g of Signature meat balls with fennel
2 x 200g bags of eatwater slim spaghetti tomatoes and a red capsicum
3 signature shallots & turmeric hot chili S&P
Some French's New York steak sauce
Lots of Blue Dragon Nuoc Cham Dipping Sauce
Then = 1 Steak sandwich
4 slices with PB&Jam

Yesterday I ate 2 big Paninis - with cathedral cheese slices n tomatoes
1 panini with PB&J
The other half of the 500g Bloomer Loaf = with jam n cheese
& 3 big sugary round Doughnuts
and that does not include my 3 or 4 **actual** meals
I had 2 x stir fry noodles - and a fried colcannon mash egg combo and other things

How about you ??

I haven't eaten any bread since Saturday.

Have you ever walked out of a cinema early because the film was so bad?
ChoccyCarole
15-04-2016
I should have and would have * The last time I went to the cinema * [ in early 2004 ]
but I was with my friend and her husband
who were over from Israel again >> on a short holiday again to visit us all

It was DIRE - King Arthur - urghhhhhh ==== A total - pile of pathetic poo -

Another time was at another friend's house - she put on a DVD of "Sister Act"
how I sat through all that I do no know - but my pal and her kids were all sat there and loving it
[ and they had already seen it before ]
Another was **in between those 2 times **
and we went with her 2 kids to the cinema in Allerton and whatever that was
>>>>>> was boring rubbish too

I have not **ever** bothered to go to the cinema after those 3 Consecutive Total ** wastes of life **

How about you ??

Having not been in three years, I went two weeks ago and am going again this coming Sunday!

The worst film I have seen in a cinema was Wild Wild West. It was a total turkey. Just AWFUL!

I feel a bit better about my four slices of a small loaf now Choccy And they were lunch, not snacks.

Not having bread is not an option. Life's too short to be breadless!! I would rather have bread than spuds or rice or pasta. Wouldn't you?
ChoccyCarole
15-04-2016
I agree ** whole loafedly **
Looks so dark & still out there >> >> as if we are due to get a huge !!!! downpour

how about you ??
twassington

Exactly the same here, perfect excuse to stay indoors and be lazy

It's chilly too! I've had to fetch me fleece

Can you always find plenty to do indoors?
ChoccyCarole
15-04-2016
yes - always

I have a long fleecy top - over my clothes
a big fluffie blankie - a hottie - a fluffy scarf - and hand warmers on

Do you have that nostalgic UK soft yellow or harsh bright white street lighting ??
twassington
15-04-2016
There is no street lighting here. Apart from my solar powered fairy lights

Wind is now howling down the chimbley but the downpours have paused for a bit.

Do you prefer to buy food ready made or to cook it yourself?
ChoccyCarole
15-04-2016
I mostly prefer to prepare my own

Lust lost << typo
Just Lost a post when my lap top crashed again
I will write a brief replacement post

Sometimes if I am driving in a very pitch black isolated area
I will pull over and turn all my lights off for a while to see the total darkness
or the moonlit night in many other dark places >>>>>> far far away
Such as high up on The Lonely Saddleworth Moor

Have you every done this too ??
twassington
15-04-2016
Yes! I love to see the dark starlit skies. It quite literally is to infinity and beyond Although it is very dark driving home to my place after visiting my son in the outskirts of Canterbury I like the unlit country roads.

Do you always dip your headlights if you see someone coming towards you?
silentNate
15-04-2016
I do

Not sure whether to laugh or cry!

Ever have groceries delivered??
twassington
15-04-2016

ChoccyCarole
15-04-2016
A few weeks ago
For about 5 .5 years I only ever did online shopping
My EBay feedback this morning is showing as
1234 >> with a Red star
I am a VIP @ Sainsbury's due to much stoppage
Using my kindle as lap top keeps fizzling and crashing many times every day

Do you make or like jelly ??
twassington
15-04-2016
Not a fan really, it must be years since I had any.

I last danced about 40 mins ago. Anyone looking through my windows would have seen something like THIS

Will you be the terror of the old folks home?
silentNate
15-04-2016
I doubt I will live that long

twass - I dance all the time, it helps ease the pain in my hip

What's for dinner??
twassington
15-04-2016
Salmon, rice and peas.

Movement is good for dodgy bits and bobs. The more you sits, the worse it hits

Having been indoors all day I needed a bit of exercise What do you consider to be your greatest skill?
ChoccyCarole
15-04-2016
I was a great bus driver

What is your greatest skill ??
silentNate
15-04-2016
Stubborn-mindedness. You may laugh but it has gotten me a lot further than you might think

Why is comedy on TV so bad these days??
twassington
15-04-2016
