I've no idea....it's only 10.50 Likely to be frozen fish of some sort since there is plenty of that.

I might have mackerel and cheese on toast for lunch though, as you've made me think about food

Do you know what your dinner will be at this hour of the morning?

I don't always know early in the day what I will be having for dinner
Unless it is something that must get eaten or if I have made something in advance
then I will know I will be eating these things

Good to know there is a slight improvement Twassy
I would give your hair a little bit of snippage - Especially if it grows so fast -

passing your question on again
Do you know what your dinner will be at this hour of the morning?

If Twassy pops back first - Your mackerel n cheese on toast sounds very nice
I don't recall having that combo
Do you sometimes **try - have - or buy** some things that get mentioned in here by various people ??
[ I do - such as Twassy's yummy [ H&B's ] Lavender & Echinacea tea --
& recent "spenno" magic ointment - various perfumes - drinks & foods - etc ]

I do sometimes get inspiration for noms from comments made either on DS or FB. As for the mackerel and cheese, tinned mackerel on toast on its own is very nice but add cheese and grill til golden brown and it is a taste sensation

I pass that question on to the next poster re their dinner.

Do you buy either free range eggs or free range organic?

For the past 14 or more years [ Since ? 2001 ? or 2002 ?]
I get 6 ** free range organic eggs ** delivered to me - by a lovely guy - Roger -
He comes through - alone - to Liverpool from Bangor - 1 or 2 days every week
[ I think he drives - 2 hours - to get from Bangor to here ]
He said he usually sets off at about 6am each trip
and is still delivering at 6pm at night ]
All the eggs are laid on his farm

What eggs do you get ??
& My Recycling [ Blue ] wheelie bin collectors are here right now - I can hear the Engine & the Hydraulics
This collection is fortnightly

Do you have a huge truck that comes and collects your - tins glass and plastic bottles cardboard n paper etc ??

No - I never have done *any day or night time dumping*
I am often clearing up all the bits of litter - all around this area
A couple of years ago I did - once - give a thought to putting a couple of things into a nearby skip - but didn't actually do it

I never wanted to leave the UK / Home => Liverpool
I was always !!!!!! homesick for the UK
I always !!!!!! wished I was back living here
But I ** never ever expected ** or thought that I could ever end up
>>>>>>>>>>>>>> living back here

Would you say that where you are living ** Is The place **
that you spent some time ..... hoping ........... wishing ...... or longing to happen ??

Yes, yes YES! I was meant to be here. Being here is fabulous and I hope to stay for many years. Renting means you have to be realistic and this may not happen. But I will stay in Kent and live rural whatever happens. I love this cottage and although this will sound insane, it seems to KNOW.

I wouldn't want to live abroad, no matter how beautiful the country. I love Britain! The seasons, the quaint old fashioned things that still are here, the history, the wildlife, the trees......

What do you love about Britain?

It's where London is and it's where the beautiful countryside of Wiltshire & Yorkshire are.

Least favourite city you have visited??

yes please
I would agree Birmingham was not a place I would choose to re visit
I was not there long enough to see many parts - I imagine there are lovely places there too
Same with Liverpool - there are many fabulous areas as well as some grotty / shabby areas
Since I have been back there have been many major modern and wonderful improvements -
Up until the radical changes - there was evidence of many broken down - bombed derelict buildings and rough areas >>>> all along the way

I agree Wiltshire is lovely - and could understand why my Mum decided to remain down there after she had returned - once again to the UK
after she initially stayed with her niece - / a Radiographer at that time
& her hubby & their German Shepherd
in their *A Frame* house in nearby Swindon

Ever desired living on a coast - where you could see and hear the Sea
and feel and smell the fresh salty sea breezes ??

I used to long to live by the sea....but the world crowds to you in summer. I would rather be where I am, sea in easy reach, but where I live is always quiet.

On the cob please FB, preferably barbecued!

Have you ever grown your own sweetcorn?

sown 24 today......grow em most years

spoken to owner of the cat that seems to have moved in..........young upwardly mobile couple but very pleasant to talk to...what they said about me in private, can only guess Seems they have 4 cats and loony adorable dog, plus young sprog of about 3.
Anyways the cat went missing this morning and I thought that it was confined to barracks , but it turned up about half an hour ago and is now kipping on me bed.

Do I flea and worm it ..or do I ask them if they do ?

The mini Independent? Yes.

Check if they have flea'd and wormed it first hoots. The cat doesn't want a double dosage of chemicals!!

I've grown corn successfully albeit in Norf London on an allotment. It is nothing like what you buy in the shops. If you pick, cook and eat it in under an hour it is so sweet you'd be amazed! I think it loses that sweetness very quickly with storage.

How far north can grape vines be grown? THere's a flourishing vineyard near me, I took Mrs T there on one of her visits, she was hoping for free tasters!!

More than 30 years ago..but..Milton Keynes. Holy Moses talk about every road being the same. I swear if you zoom in on an atlas you could lay a potato waffle on it, and they'd line up perfectly. Damn eerie was my recollection of it..plus you saw houses..you saw cars..just no people out and about.

Seems though there is human life present, as one vitrolic individual commented on 'ilivehere'

Our city is full of Chavs. Not only are they outsmarted by gardening tools they hang out in the strangest places.
My humble apologies to the many no doubt good folk of the town..or city..depending whose viewpoint you sit with on that matter ! Apparently it's not, but the row goes on from within that it is ad infinitum.

So long as I never have to return they can keep arguing about it

English wine has been growing in it's standard as a reasonable vintage for years and I believe that a couple of years ago (2014) the English wine produced was of a high quality

Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon??

any vino will do

dunno about vino and growing...got a grape vine in one of the abandoned `greenhouses`.....needs demolishing real bad Blooming things gorn rampant and throws of shoots everywhere...haven`t got a clue as to how to train it. Perhaps Napalm might help.

wot you think?

tis one of me failures..read quite a lot on wot to do, but really haven`t got a scooby

Apparently he's Banksy. In which case, yes I know his works, several of them hang on my walls!

Just had a lovely Radox bath Why doesn't someone invent an in-bath gadget that keeps the water steaming hot?

Thanks for the greeting, and apologies for the tardy reply - along with forgetting to check the premise of how the post works !

..maybe because over time we'd spend so long in them, we'd either develop gills, or worse dissolve completely one day

Jumping Judas I cannot think of a single question...about anything

OK..Does this happen often ?
