Yes, bagpipes! What's surreal about bagpipes? A friend of mine's son plays them. I couldn't even get a squeak out of them. Fiendishly difficult!!!
Going to be another glorious day by all accounts. Is it shorts weather?

I guess it depends on whether they do face to face customer service. I mean I wouldn't care if someone had shorts on, but I guess some might. Otherwise, I think people can wear summer clothes to work if they wish. So long as they are clean and smartish and acres of flesh aren't on show it's perfectly OK for workplaces IMHO.
Is your working environment air conditioned? |

I do, they get breadcrumbs, raisins, fruit, nuts and seeds every now and then.
I'd try a Scotch pie but I don't think they sell them in Kent, or the south for that matter. Probably a regional delicacy from your neck of the woods! Have you sunbathed today? I am about to go out for a sit in the sun. Break time!! |

I do, the table was here when I arrived and I got an inexpensive parasol and stand because the sun in the summer months is too powerful in my south facing garden. About to go out there again with a cuppa! It is glorious.
For a night out I would always choose live music of some sort ![]() Years ago I lost my friend Jamie at the age of 27 to pancreatic cancer He had only been married about a year. He looked a lot like Ben Fogle. Do you have ornaments or wind chimes etc in your garden? |

Edit - I have no idea about sick building syndrome Nate & FB
I have got all the garden table chairs - huge green parasol and iron base etc for the garden and 2 bird feeding poles - some ornaments and several windy chimes - out and indoors This week I have seen that my neighbour has a New and gorgeous pretty colourful circular [ I can see blue pinks purples and silver in the assorted separate sized moving circles It is a delicate chink-ling one - hung beside the front door / on the bit of wall between her living room window - All day - From first thing in the morning - the sun makes it All sparkle & twinkle !!!! Everytime I go out - I hear it and spend a few moments admiring it ![]() [ Her front and especially her back garden is soooooooo delightful with every cute [ tasteful and comical thing they have put in it and all their choices of varied plants and super shrubbage ] I will no doubt speak about it & ask where she got this cute and pretty !!!! wind chime when I next see her would you ask a neighbour -??- |

I'd compliment them on it, for sure. My windchimes are all very natural looking in wood, shell and bone.
Is sick building syndrome to do with the air con circulating all the bugs and germs and spreading flu and colds around the workforce? Just heard Victoria Wood has died aged only 62, of cancer Yet another celebrity death! RIP

*bird feeders, a bird box, a bee box too* What's sick building syndrome?? Largely associated with germs being recycled around the building via air conditioning. It's similar to the reason why a lot of people get sick after traveling by plane. I'm shocked at Victoria Wood dying... so young I agree with Carole that this year can only get more shocking with SL and BF next to go ![]() Did you watch Acorn Antiques??

Wow Nate - that is a memory and a Half ![]() I do like some magic acts Last year I saw on YT = One poor girl was filmed during a deadly serious mishap The noise of the Music - did not help matters - as her calls for help and actions were not seen or heard by the actual guy with the saw [ Edit for Twassy - I have just opened the return envelope to read the letter they had enclosed Apparently there have been some [ dangerous ] RARE problems with some plugs - which when pulled from the wall socket The adapter assembly may detach >>>>>>>>>> and create a risk of an electrical shock ![]() I bought / ordered my Kindle on the 25th ? of January this year and collected it in the shop a few days later You already has yours at that time - so maybe yours is Safe I would contact them - if you prefer to find out if yours is ok The NEW replacement Black plug is like the standard squareish mains plug-in **plug shape** From behind >>>>>My original black plug has narrow OBLONG 1" by 2" version [ So was More of an extended and deeper [ ] plug shape ] I just received the replacement unexpectedly in the big white padded envelope yesterday morning - from Amazon they included a smaller envelope to return the one the kindle was sold with ] Do you think you were ever caught on any film footage - that was put on YT or TV ?? |
