How many times have you cut the lawn this year??
ChoccyCarole
20-04-2016
Maybe twice

How about you ??
farmer bob
20-04-2016
Three times, be 4 tomorrow CC

Do you put 'feed' on your lawn??
silentNate
20-04-2016
Nope

Do you get fed up of helicopters hovering over your estate at 02:00 in the morning??
farmer bob

Only hear 1 or 2 per week, usually an RAF rescue or a Police chopper.

Would it help if the natives behaved themselves?
twassington
20-04-2016
It would, a friend in London told me today about four houses in their street have been robbed this year alone!!

Thanks for that number Choccy. My plug is a large solid one, so may be OK, but I will call and find out. I got mine in September last year.

I've not cut the lawn yet, it's about a foot long

Should I give in and just have a meadow?
silentNate
20-04-2016
Could you not buy a cow or goat??
twassington
20-04-2016
Not allowed animals, renting!! I'd love a little goat. A cow would be a bit big

Landlords appear to be handing over the farm to another family member, so they will then become the landlord. I wonder if they would be more agreeable to having a pet.......

Do you eat your dinner in front of a screen?
silentNate
20-04-2016
Yeah... I get to watch stuff in peace as my wife doesn't talk with her mouth full

Do you??
ChoccyCarole
20-04-2016
Yes I eat watching Tv - while I am sitting here - on this huge settee

I would say yes to that fb
I only hear helicopters once every few months
Makes me a bit nervous in case some dangerous crim bod/s are lurking and hiding out nearby
Especially when they hang around overhead and totally illuminate my gardens and others nearby

Do you just love / ADORE these 3 Latest TV adverts ??

[ My ♥♥♥♥kitties have ** often done this very same thing **
xxxxx with my adorable doggies xxx♥♥xxx ]

Up until the age of almost 11 - I used to pretend to be a big strong fiesty Arabian
Horse at My Primary Preparatory girls school
and take various riders - who would take turns hanging tightly onto the back my cardigan [ which became all stretched out of shape ]
while I took them on a Realistic Galloping - white knuckle ride -
complete with
the occasional Whinney noises and some rearing bucking and hoof scraping
skillfully weaving around all the old established trees and along the uneven undulating soily ground
at one end of the school grounds - just beside the big glass conservatory

The school and this same glass conservatory used to hang up our coats
is still all there on the corner of Cromptons Lane and Menlove Avenue @ L18

Did you play any games like this ??
twassington
20-04-2016
Horses, yes, many times!! I was rarely allowed a friend indoors to play, I do remember one occasion when my friend Anita came round and we used the dining chairs as horses and played a very involved game with them. Outdoors, we either had pretend horses or were the horses ourselves. There was a stables just up the road where we would go on our bikes and see the horses and get a bucket of manure for our dads

I still remember very clearly the playground of my Junior school and the field surrounding it which we were allowed to play on in summer months. It was full of wildflowers and rarely mown. Perfect!!

Did you make nests of grass and flowers and pretend to be birds?
silentNate

twassington
20-04-2016
Only once, and fortunately not for long, at work. I used to suffer from claustrophobia but seem to have got over it in recent years. Back then I was panicking off the charts

twassington
20-04-2016
