Wiltshire is such a lovely part of the world - I love the local cream stone used on many houses etc
I visited there and many nearby places for a few weeks when I first arrived back in the UK in in early September
People living there all seemed to take great pride in their gardens
Went back 2 more weekends - Since then
We went out to most days to some Beautiful woodlands with dappled sunshine & lots of cute Big Bunnies hopping around - in the lush terrain - it was like some totally enchanting idyllic world
We travelled to many places all around the area as well as me driving to Stonehenge - - Devizes - The local town centre and bus station Laycock - Corsham- Melksham Castle Combe Avebury Trowbridge etc
[ We Got the bus one day > to Bath ]
0n my Return I was Based in Chippenham/ @ the far end of Westcroft = upstairs @ no 107 - half way along the row of flats
[ Right now just saw that My emerald green Nissan Celebration is still shown parked there in the small 2 car parking bay beside a gold metallic car
[ On The 2009 Street view ]

How many bicycles have you owned ??

Three....the third hand one I had as a kid which my Dad helped me tart up with black and white chequered sticky tape, and which he gave away to the scouts without asking me when I was about 14 [admittedly I hadn't ridden it in a good while] and then a folding bike I got from a newspaper ad when about 18 and rode it to work. Then when Splint and I moved into the London house, he bought me a brand new bike [which he couldn't afford] only for it to be stolen a few months later Taken from our back garden. Three of his bikes were also taken over a three year period.

I've half thought of getting another one but.............very hilly here

Plus cyclists are a blooming nuisance on narrow winding country lanes!!!

We went out for a roastie dinner Local cafe does a fabulous one, two courses for £12 and as good as a home made one. Will you have a roast today? I know you will, Choccy

What a lovely day Twassy &
How awful to have robbers take so many of your bikes

Yes My friend gave me a heaped fabulous plate of of her
" Perfect Sunday Roast Dinner "

[ She rang me up @2-47pm to say she was bringing my dinner over ] .......... let the drooling begin

They are all worthy of a photo

Do you sometimes take photos of any fabulous meals - foods ??

Possibly, possibly. I once had a fishfood stew in in Madeira that had little baby squids floating in it. I surprised myself by actually eating it.

What food have you had to think about seriously before starting to eat it?

I would have to think twice about ever eating soooo many things now
I avoid many things - where their life was invaded and ended

Yes years ago I tried Calamari - and it tasted very nice

Back then
I ate many foods that I do not choose to eat these days
Some things will never pass my lips - as delicious as it all **was**

For a very long time I aim mostly for Veg veg and ...... even more veg etc
People have joked when they see my trolley stacked FULL with veg - etc
Especially when it is Bulging with so many bargains !!!!
saying - " Have you got a green grocer's shop somewhere " ??

Nate - Does your wife precisely / follow a favourite recipe ??
For other posters - do you use recipes very often - when cooking ??

Not often, I either invent or customise meals I already know how to cook.

I'd eat the tentacle stew for sure!!

Would that be served with rice?

Occasionally down the years, not often....I did get a tie dye maxi dress in there a few years ago. Worn it so much it is literally falling apart now ......

Do you keep favourite old clothes despite falling apart-ness?

I rarely part with my own good quality clothing

The only clothes I tend to readily pass on to various other places would be
Clothes that have been offered / given to me--- and are just not to my taste
or
clothes that I have bought on line that I open and quickly decide that I do no like them -
If start wearing some casual clothes much less often which are still in good condition etc- I have passed some of these clothes & Pj's T shirts - fleecy tops and fleecy zip up jackets - on to my Sister - if think she could make good use of them
I get her stacks of new clothes as gifts every year

My many many many lovely clothes never look old dated or show any signs of shabby wears and tears
I always only put them on a few moments before I actually am due to leave the house
and always take them off - promptly - within minutes of returning home
- I have always treated all my clothes very carefully -

Only a very few of my Mega comfy every day clothes - may get to look like they have been well worn
once in a long while a pair undies or socks may get **thrown away**
if they start to look shabby

same for you ??

Wear it until it falls apart, unless it's work clothing then I'm a tad more careful.

BHS have gone into administration... I'm gonna nip round there tomoprrow to sniff out any bargains

Will you??
