Well, he DID promise, so I'm guessing yes Jubilant scenes on the news of the people of Leicester celebrating

Fancy a crisp?
silentNate
03-05-2016
The Vardy Salted special crisps sold out... I heard they were going for £40 a packet on e-bay

I've got some Salt N Shake... fancy a packet??
twassington
03-05-2016
Yes please! I won't be using the salt on mine.

Do you own a football scarf?
ChoccyCarole
03-05-2016
No - but I HAVE got a stack of footballs [ maybe 30 ]
I can see 4 from where I am sitting
& Rosie is asleep on the floor on her right side
with her front paws just 2 inches away from her Fading red n cream Nike football
and her smaller hard blue rubber ball is actually touching << Both her hind paws zzzzzz zzzzzz

Have you got a football scarf ??
and
when was the last time you kicked a foot ball ??

So long ago I can't remember!

What sort of ball have you most played with in your life....tennis, football, netball, rugby, cricket or basketball?
ChoccyCarole
03-05-2016
tennis balls -- 2 or 3 at a time
up against any wall that was available

or juggling with 3 of them

And you ??
twassington
03-05-2016
The same. Tennis balls have always been the ball of choice for me, the up against the wall games with the songs that went with them used up hours of my childhood. It is like juggling only against a wall!

Did you play singing and clapping rhymes as a kid?
tanstaafl
03-05-2016
You must be joking! Boys were boys in my young days. None of these poncey, girly games for us.

Could it be that I'm giving offence to the current generation of girls? Could I - eek! - be accused of being sexist?
twassington
03-05-2016
Oh heaven forbid, tans!

My friend's brother if no boys were available to play with, would play skipping and clapping games or hopscotch with us girls. First sight of another boy and he'd be off like a rocket

Did you have water fights with empty fairy liquid bottles filled with water?
silentNate
03-05-2016
Of course

A few football kits, Sheffield Wednesday, West Ham & Birmingham City which I will confess too... lost my Dolphins top sadly. No scarfs

Do you own a footie kit??
twassington
03-05-2016
No. I won an Engerland shirt in a pub quiz years ago and used to wear that when Engerland played....but they were always shite so I gave up watching even Engerland games and binned the T shirt

How old is your fridge?
silentNate
03-05-2016
Four years, needs replacing however

How old is yours??
twassington
03-05-2016
Three years, it's a mere baby. When married I had a fridge the same age as the marriage! Well over 20 years and still working.

What's the oldest machine you own?
tanstaafl
03-05-2016
My body. OK, I've got a pair of scissors that I got at work back in the early 70s and I also have a micrometer from the same era that still works.

Are you reluctant to throw away old clothes?
twassington
03-05-2016
No, I bag 'em up and take them to the charity shop no problemo!

Are six year olds too young for tests at school?
ChoccyCarole
03-05-2016
yes

I manly only part with clothes that I am not keen on
They are mainly clothes that have been given to me
or I have bought them online - then I find that I am not keen on them
or the size or fit is wrong on me

My under the counter fridge must be just over 20 years old -- I think it cost £90
It is a cheapie brand = ** Ariston - SELECT ** and still looks like new -
apart from a *tiny* 1/2" bit of rust just under the opening side of the door/ under the bottom edge
I got it maybe 4 years - before I'd left my flat in Woolton
and I have been living here [ Over 16 years ] since 14th December 1999
Same story with my Hotpoint washing machine = Lasted 18 years
I got that in the flat in about 1994 and it lasted here until about 2012

Do you stick with the same brand of kettle - if they eventually need replacing
[ I do - I like Breville for Jugs & Hotpoint for washing machines ]
silentNate
03-05-2016
Nah, not that fussy... leave it up to my wife tbh

Have you heard about Desert Trip concert ticket prices??
twassington
04-05-2016
Er...no...are these only for countries with deserts in them?

May the Fourth be with you!!
StrictlyEastend
04-05-2016
I haven't a Clue.

Do you watch Emmerdale?
twassington
04-05-2016
Never. Or any soaps. At all

Surprise to you is that?
tanstaafl
04-05-2016
I've always assumed that you were literate and sophisticated. Honest, guv! Anyway, none of the main soaps have Vikings in them.

I did use to watch The Bill. Would you agree that that was a soap?
twassington
04-05-2016
I've no idea tans, I've never seen that either. There are a lot of tellybox things I have never watched.

Had it been The Bill in 9th Century Norway, perhaps

What a glorious day!! A mini heatwave is forecast.........are your shorts out yet?
silentNate
04-05-2016
I don't own shorts... I can't see my workplace being keen on such clothing

Will Hilary walk the US Presidential election??
Picto
04-05-2016
I'm not allowed to wear shorts in work.

ETA : I think Hilary will walk it.

What's your favourite TV show airing at the moment?
ChoccyCarole
04-05-2016
I really enjoy Room 101 - with Frank Skinner 😁

We are having a super gloriously sunny warm day
with many birds all tweeting soooooooo beautifully

Lap top just cut out - so I am now using my 7" Amazon Kindle Fire

Do you have many days where you need to use various ways to access the internet ??
